The constant push and pull of what is considered acceptable versus how I feel, and making the right choices for my survival and being able to keep my conscious intact. I'm sure many can relate, so, I thought I would share, and be transparent about it all."

I'm a grown ass man and this had me tearing up, deep story. Apollo is has been the best producer in the past few yrs without question. Stik Figa is a beast with the lyrics.
Absolutely profound! We need to remember that when we need a blood transfusion, an organ transplant etc. etc. we don't ask what colour the donor was. We are simply grateful that someone was willing to donate what we so desperately needed. This is the world I want to live in, where the colour of our skin doesn't separate us but rather unites us against those who would prefer that their agenda be met. Their expectation of who or what we should be should not be lived into but railed against with every fibre of our being. We are all connected by the finest of gossamer threads so when I hurt you, I hurt me.

I'm proud of this new generation in hip hop.This is not the first time I've heard one of these new artist actually show a human side and some compassion.I wish it would of caught on earlier.My generation was all about being superthug and being heartless and cold.I feel we got manipulated.
Phew, I mean I was so connected to this story. Apollo had the right beat in mind and Stik with the lavishly strong bars over it blessed this look into a situation gone bad plus revenge. Sadly this does happen in reality which continues the cycle of violence. Great twist in the end.
