Amazing ride and one of the best layouts. Totally hauls at night. Sometimes you can get a bad ride due to the restraints but most of my rides have been totally awesome.
Still an elite ride. The hate for the restraints are overblown. Sure they aren’t great but this is still the best ride in the park (even tho I think Wicked Cyclone is underrated)
@letchukki the restraints don’t hurt unless you have some thing in your pocket. They can staple you though. I’ve done it 5 times this year so I can justify saying that.
When Superman runs fast like this, you wanna sit in the front to get that airtime, as the train is running so fast it pushes you over the hills! I like the seat behind the first seat as it is less of a wait, you get that great drop and it is smooth as butter!
When superman runs slow you want the front for sense of speed and push over the hills. When it runs fast you want the back, it still has the kick of the airtime and sense of speed isn’t a problem
Love this coaster. Perfect starter coaster and such a fun ride. Also the wooshhh sound you get on it makes you feel like youre really flying with superman
This was always the measuring stick for me growing up. Great coaster in my home park that I've ridden probably 50+ times in all iterations. This was the coaster that taught me how awesome airtime is! The audio on Bizarro was pretty awful I'm glad they switched back to Superman and original color scheme. Curious to hear your thoughts on how this beast has aged
I was there a few weeks ago place was empty and Superman and the cyclone were flying faster than I can ever remember I rode the Superman five times in a row with less than a five minute wait in between rides was a glorious day
As someone who considered themselves an enthusiast, how do you find people in your area who are the same? Cedar point is my home park and the last 4 visits I’ve had have been disappointing because no one like coasters the way I do. I’m honestly ready to give up roller coasters all together because I can never enjoy them the way I want to. Im tired of being disappointed and it frustrates me. Seems like the universe is telling me I shouldn’t ride them any more. As a woman I don’t feel safe going by myself. Any advise?
Hi there! I’d recommend joining Instagram with a coaster account and meeting enthusiasts through there. There’s also an awesome female run page called G-Force instagram.com/g.force.irl?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
What's wrong with the restraints? I've never ridden this ride but if I were to rank my credit list by most comfortable restraints I think my Intamin credits would sweep the top spots.
Extremely large and thick, and they rest low on your leg (halfway between my hip and knee for me) which is quite painful if the lap bar lowers during the ride, which it will if not held up. Though there’s a lot of padding, it’s quite hard, which exacerbates the issue. Ironically, it’s also less safe if you get room, as it’s easy to straighten your knees, and potentially fly out if you were to get more than 3 inches of room, but ofc the ops won’t let that happen.
I was there on Monday and for some reason people kept trying to take their shoes off and put them by the cup racks, so the ride op was constantly having to make the announcement that you have to keep your shoes on and the ride is not floorless. I have never seen this be such a huge problem in one day, why would anyone even want to take their shoes off for that rollercoaster?? 😂
My experiences with other guests in the park on Monday and at Great Adventure last week are generally concerning actually, the staff is very relaxed about people bringing phones on rides where that is potentially super dangerous and could get someone killed. They just give a light verbal warning, no security involvement. At this point, I'm waiting for the no phones rule to be written in blood.
It's nice I have this coaster in my home park but it's overrated!! The drop isn't anything special, the airtime is pretty good and the spaghetti bowl is rough

The problematic coasters video on Superman The Ride is coming soon! In the meantime, what's your opinion on this roller coaster?
Awesome but painful 😅
I love it. The restraints are fine guys!! To much hate!!

Nah you want the back

Riding for the first time next weekend. Hyped for this ride and Wicked Cyclone
Heart dropped when I thought this was the problematic coasters video for my own home park coaster!
Same for the first part of your comment lol 😂
He said he’s gonna make one on it though so it’s probably already in the works
I went a few weeks ago and it was flooded because of all the rain but I have ridden it before and it is amazing
Love this coaster. Perfect starter coaster and such a fun ride. Also the wooshhh sound you get on it makes you feel like youre really flying with superman
this is my favorite coaster iv never been on!!!
Amazing. Holy crap I went to New England the other day and I wanted to die 😂😂 Amazing footage as always, can’t wait for the Problematic Coasters on it

What about a problematic rollercoasters video on Intamin Impulse coasters, as they are often closed for maintenance.
Can't wait for the video on this!
I just rode this today and it was running super fast but there were constant delays. Operations were like 8 minute dispatches.
Is the front or back seat better on this ride?
I was there a few weeks ago place was empty and Superman and the cyclone were flying faster than I can ever remember I rode the Superman five times in a row with less than a five minute wait in between rides was a glorious day
I’m in this video twice. I didn’t even see you that day. You’re a ninja. Lol
The best hyper, no doubt.

I’m planning a trip to cedar point in the next year, Ill ride with you! And vice versa if you ever come to visit SF New England
they put a new camera system in at the tollbooth looks like there getting everyone's license plate now
What's the deal with the one car on the trains that has a box with the superman logo insead of seats?
Haven’t ridden that since the summer of 2001.
What's with that random car in the middle with only 2 seats instead of 4?
It was used for VR/on train audio and when they removed that from the ride intamin wanted way too much to fit the missing seats.
this is just Steel Force Dorney Park
You wont be getting to too many parks until your baby boys a toddler

Somebody flew off the ride in the early 2000s and we got stuck with these restraints ever since

That happens all the time lol. I petition to chop people’s feet off when they do that lmao
No pov?
It's off ride footage
I had 2 good rides then they stapled me for the 3rd 🤕
They called it "The" Superman...? uuuuuuugh...
What do you expect that's in New England the people are dumb
It's nice I have this coaster in my home park but it's overrated!! The drop isn't anything special, the airtime is pretty good and the spaghetti bowl is rough
More like Rattles at the spaghetti bowl,it’s only rough when it was rethemed as Bizarro form 2011 to 2015
