Cy's Corner I'm at work right now having my lunch started my integer pattern of the Dragon the other day when I get a bit more done I will send you a photo 💋💞💋💞
VERY GOOD ! I just finished the entire cast including Martin , Gosimer , and Granny . they are standing individually on my shelves (not for sale ) enjoyed by grandkids and bring friends my age great laughter and memories .
That is soooo awesome!!! I would love to make more of them!!! I had to look up Gossamer, but I recognized the big red fluffy guy right away. I recently discovered a lot of the characters names while I was looking them up for another project. Just can't beat the Looney Tunes!!!! Lots of memories and laughs for sure!!!
That's absolutely awesome! I'm truly so happy for you on the grandbaby! I'm sure it will be one of many that you will create for this little family as it grows! Many blessings to you all!
Super job Cy. It is always so rewarding to be able to make things for your grandchildren. May this be the first of many. I especially like your use of blue pine for Bugs. The color and grain are perfect. Blue pine is virtually unobtainable in our area.
Thanks! I was told about Blue pine a few months ago and just love it. At first it was siding that was available, and now the place has regular 2x4's and 2x6's!!! And bring on the grandkids!!!
Pricing is difficult. There are a few videos out there by folks who sell their creations regularly. I suggest googling selling your projects or something like that. Hope that helps!
Excellent craftsmanship! Really!! You might practice making Umi Zomi and Blaze though ! Our favorite Looney Tunes (mine too) aren’t on the kids channels or iPads as much anymore - haha. (Side note: when my kids were growing up it was Animainiacs and Ren and Stimpy that were my favorites - haha)
I haven't heard of Umi Zomi and Blaze, but I see they are cars? I noticed the Looney Tunes aren't around so much, the baby ones are but those are just not the same. I watched Animaniacs and Ren and Stimpy with my son too, also Pinky and the Brain! :)
cy's te quedo hermoso trabajo y nosotros les decimos nietos , espero que la traduccion salga bien , sigo tus videos y aprendiendo de tu experiencia ya haciendo mis propios intarsia , porsupuesto que no con tu calidad ...gracias por compartirlos , saludos desde buenos aires.......................cy's beauty of work and we say grandchildren, I hope the translation goes well, I follow your videos and learning from your experience already doing my own intarsia, of course not with your quality ... thanks for sharing, greetings from buenos aires
Thanks Mike. I didn't mention the wood but did put them in the description box, but not what each specific piece was. So here goes: The gray part was blue pine, the white is Holly (I didn't like how the white turned out so I was going to paint it, but my son and his wife like it natural), the mouth and eyes are walnut, the tongue and nose are pink ivory, and the inside of the ears are aromatic cedar. :) Daffy is Walnut and Padauk :)
@LeggoMyEggo Hee hee, love your name. Thank you, I don't have the templates, I just googled pictures of Bugs and Daffy and made intarsias from the pictures. ;)
