SUP Y’ALL?! Sooo I’m just going to add my disclaimers here just in case it’s not heard in the video, because they need to be seen and made aware of: - The purpose of this analysis is NOT to rank which member is better than the other. Coming from an art background, where we view art as a form of expression where there’s no right or wrong/no best and worst, it’s not in my nature to say who’s better than who when that statement could be completely different from someone else’s perspective. The “A is better than B” bs is irrelevant to me when preference is present. - I specifically chose Stray Kids for this “individual dance analysis” because their individual dance styles are different from each other, and they work well as a whole despite having different styles, so they made this interesting for me to analyze. For groups who are super synchronized to the point of impressively looking exactly the same, it would be tough to make an individual analysis. Also, I just want to say a huge thanks to those who watched the whole video. I know it’s long.🤣 (I had to cut down a lot too so imagine how much longer this would’ve been if I didn’t, hahaha) I used to “dance talk” a LOT when I was an active dancer and was an instructor so it’s nice to revive this retired side of me.😅 - thina
Lee know is an advanced dancer indeed. His body isolation, power and body control are amazing.Lee Know is also precise and neat when it comes to dancing up to the tiniest detail. He indeed has the soul of a dancer.
Leeknow is totally on the other level. I really admire him, but hes so overlooked, maybe because we havent seen his "full potential" yet. The fact that he is Dancing since he was a Kid, but he is improving each comeback is so scary. I cant wait for many years that Im sure in the future, we can see his full Force/Potential as the Main Dancer

Some Facts 😅 Chan said he doesn't watch he's fancams because he's not that confident or embarrass of his dance skills, but he did said he'll watch it if he gains confident. For I.N, he's having a hard time or not confident of his dance skills too, he tried working out (especially his arms) so his movements can come off strong on stage. About Lee know, he said he tried not to stand out and don't dance for himself. He dance as a group so they can be seen as one group, not an individual but as part of Stray Kids. I know they did amazing and I hope a lot of people appreciate not just their dance, singing or rapping but their hardworking as well, they're always trying their best for their fans and I really love that about them!
Wow. The info about Lee Know is telling. He does so well in team work, supporting his members by their side (since pre-debut) . Like, I think that's why, even if the group has freedom, Lee Know doesn't take center much. (although personally, my eyes land on him during dance breaks even if he isn't center HAHAHA)
Minho is a team player but the rest of the group are strong enough to not necessarily hold his skills back. Much to his stans chagrin he doesn't mind where he is positioned during choreo he just wants to dance.
i love how the three of them in danceracha have different styles, it's really cool seeing some personality in their moves... I recently watched some fancams trying to just see some of the choreographies better and i remember when lee know's came up i was thinking ''hmm, so that's what the move looks like'' because he was doing it with such precision and control you could really see each move, I'm not a dancer so maybe this makes no sense but I just remembered it after what you said about him 😁
Ngl I think Minho x Leather Pants was the best idea their stylist or smth ever thought of cause them thighs 👁👄👁 If you don’t mind me asking what sort of style did you do when you were a dancer? Have you thought of doing dancing again?
yes they are all good at dancing but if you will really focus on how they/each member dance lee know's power and swag in dancing is diff. it standout even in a little moves.
So Hyunjin was pretty much picked up to audition off the street for his looks. It’s a sore spot for him and he constantly worries that’s all anyone sees, so he practices non stop with his dancing and rapping to feel like he’s good enough to be in the group. At least, when they first became a group that’s how he felt.
I really enjoyed your analysis. Thank you! Thanks, too, for sharing your cover. I am happy that Stray Kids inspired you to pursue your art again. They have made me draw and paint again even though I have been pretty sick lately. When you said Felix dance moves seem effortless I really smiled because my daughter and I describe Felix's dancing as "defying gravity" . He looks like he can turn gravity on and off at will.😊 I am so happy that you chose not to rate them but instead talked about each of their strengths. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Honestly Hyunjins dancing just hits different to me, like he stands out to me, his movements are so clean but satisfying to watch and the way he just adds a little spice to his dancing just adds to the dancing.
back door is a good request, but in weekly idol, the show is more, whats the word, relaxed? its more about having fun than focusing on the sharpness of their moves. not that they arent, though
Love your video. Firstly thank you for taking the time to make a full analysis and TY for the reminder this isnt a ranking!!!! Im getting back into kpop as someone who's beginning to get interested in dance. This is cool!!!
Hyunjin is very graceful and almost sensual in a way? but at the same time very hard hitting. He's like on the end of the spectrum of both sides xD So def. great dynamics there and obviously his charisma and facial expressions are insane. For Lee know I think you can just tell that he is experienced and has been trained for a while. He is super controlled, he has great stamina, his energy remains the same throughout the whole performance and he never over or under dances, he always has the right amount of power and energy. He is also very detailed with it and his lines are beautiful. He's just very smooth and makes it look effortless. Felix is definitely power centered, he makes sure his moves are impactful and strong. His lines are clean and cut and He has a certain swag to him that catches your attention. I think Stray Kids are for sure a very strong group when it comes to dancing and they're improving rapidly. Considering how hyunjin had absolutely 0 experience nor skill prior to Jyp and Felix is mostly self taught, they're at a very high level already and I can't wait to see them continue to improve in the future.
So glad I found your analysis! This is really interesting to actually understand why I found this or that person dancing more distinctive for whatever reason. Thanks!

I looovvee to hear your anilyzis. I don't know many female dancers commenting on Stray Kids' dance, so I really enjoy yours. Beeing someone 'lost' her ballete feet a long time ago, I will always admire dancer. I also wanna thank you for your nice comment on the maknae IN. I think he' s good, although I think he is affraid to make large / exagerate moves such Hyunjin and LeeKnow do. By the way, do you like to read fiction? Being not able to dance, I wrote some fan-fictions of Stray Kids. Almost all in Indonesian language, only one in English so far. But kinda have a look on it if you own Wattpad. before going into this reaction, I noticed u rlly havent reacted to seventeen yet?? i might hav missed u saying smth about them but as far as I know and believe, seventeen is the best kpop group when it comes to dancing (synchronization and creativity wise) so im hoping u can react to them some other time?? maybe fallin flower or home;run or don’t wanna cry or home ???
Hey how about checking Ateez, they posted recently a cover of "The Black cat Nero" from Turbo on their channel ^^
Thank you for this video, love it ^^
I looovvee to hear your anilyzis. This is base on MV "Ex". my.w.tt/lB3JYb8xIbb Have a nice day, Ma'am.
