What you’ve to know about Ghanaians is that they hate to see their brother doing better in life but they’re comfortable when foreigners come here and do well.
And You started too early. You needed to put your money in savings, live in the system for a while understand your environment and the local community.
And even before investing in the system, you need to start small and when you understand everything fully, you build something bigger. Wishing you all the best

@@rushasare personally I’ve lived in the western world too. But when I’m in Ghana is hard to tell I’m from outside. Because Ghanaians are some people you’ve to understand.
Once’s you’re from outside and you give them the impression that you’ve the money to spend, you’re in for some pretty ugly surprises.
But if you observe them very well, they can never take advantage of you

This does not apply to Ghana alone.
It apply to all black Africa countries.
Most of the people in Africa lacks of critical thinking.
I'm a Nigerian, it also happens in Nigeria.
      Most people can't think critically.
Religion belief is a big problem in Africa continent.
As many people rely on God to do what he has destined to do for them.
I think to live in Africa person must understand the people thinking mentality

I am Ghanaian residing and running a successful business in NY. Why will anyone in his right mind will leave US where you have basic services 24/7 to keep your business and livelihood comfortable and functioning properly for Ghana where you will be stock with rules from IMF. Only selfish person will make that choice.

Continue to run your business there as it’s working for you. But note that the log does not turn into a crocodile no matter the period it stays in the lake. Neither does the mouse become a squirrel because they both have similar looks; the bushy tail is for a reason.
The peace for the soul is on a different level. So gladly stick to your decision and continue with the plantation works. Let others choose to do something for their country.

Well, that's how some people that was born and raised in America. You own nothing in America. If you purchase a house in America you never own it even after you pay this 30 year mortgage off. You have to pay taxes on your house after you lived in it for 30 years and if you don't the sheriff will be there to put you out. You will always depend on the government for utilities.
