Yes, I know I butchered DJ Próvaí's name... Sorry, JJ. Just a humble Canadian out here doing my best.
I never in a million years expected to see a Kneecap movie, let alone at Sundance Film Festival. Those boys could do anything and make it cool. Couldn’t be prouder.
Hell of a journey!
@@PointsofReviewabsolutely right!
Absolute delight of a movoe, that was.
@@PointsofReview Bud, do you know if there’s an Irish release date on the cards or what’s the craic? Dying to see it!
@@stabcitySB Nothing formalized yet... Likely late 2024.
Have learnt more Irish listening to Kneecap than 13yrs of Irish in school taught me.
That's amazing.
It's wild to see a childhood friend doing so well. Love to see it!!
Crushing it out there, for sure.
Would love to see how this film is received in Ireland! Wild ride!
It'll definitely be polarizing (as intended).
Such a wild ride of a film!! One of my Sundance faves for sure
100%. Not many folks talking about it heading in, but I've overheard dozens of conversations talking about it since its premiere.
I cannot wait to see this film. I love Kneecap. Such a great talent.
They're making waves!
These guys are beyond talented and real
Couldn't agree more!
Looks fantastic. I’m gonna try to check it out very soon. I like to promote Irish culture and all things Irish whether it be the language, the place the people.
100%!
What a beautiful review and I love your style. I hope everyone doesn’t listen to the noise and just watches the movie.
Thank you, that means a lot!
looks like a good time
It's a ride - there's no doubt about that.
My Irish is so much better since I started listening to them a few years ago
That's a win!
It's pronouced DJ Pro - vee
Yeah, I've struggled with the pronunciation! Heard a few slightly different pronunciations from the guys, but doing my best! Thanks!
@PointsofReview Ahh don't worry! i wasn't getting on at you! ,
It's a slag term used in Ireland for the Provisional IRA , or 'provees'
So it's from the word 'provisional'
Great review BTW, liked and subscribed 👍
@@Humanshieldchorus00 Thank you! I appreciate it, mate. That makes a ton of sense.
When is the film available to the publuc and where can i watch it?
Still to be determined. Likely late 2024.
DJ Proova lmao
Doing my best out here!
Just say Ireland, it’s all the same island
I think it's helpful for context, particularly for folks without any prior geographical understanding. (plus, it's the language that the guys in the group use + the language used in the film). But I totally understand your point!
In fairness he said the "north of Ireland" and not northern ireland
@@ImSty Yes, thank you.
was this reviewer, reviewing this at gunpoint??
I can assure you, I was not.
@BATDOYLE 🤣
Shane Gillis is the first american to share love to kneecap .
