I played on 30hz for 2 years, then switched to 90 and then 120hz. It helps massively dodging and hitting shots. Makes you reach your potential skill level much easier.
By the way, brawl stars is capped at 120fps so even if you have a 144hz phone, it will be stuck at 120fps (but having 144hz is always better than 60 or 90)
Unfortunately youtube can only show us maximum 60 fps videos so we can't see the many differences, but when i play 144 hz it feels like that the motion blur effect is turned on just like mortis montage videos that's the best thing i can face in games

Don't rely too much on game turbo. For more reliable fps, turn on the system monitoring mode from the developer options in the system and check again..

at least on my phone it's actually mainly the touch sampling rate that makes the difference between 60hz and 90hz at 60hz the touch sampling rate is also 60hz but at 90hz it's 360hz

Hz won’t matter anything, brawl star is not a fps game, for me I tried brawl star on my 240hz monitor and 300fps pc (I use 7800x3D cpu), and it really doesn’t matters at all, the only matters is ping and there are only 2 ways to lower your ping, 1st is to move beside brawl star servers, 2nd is to use Ethernet then you can get 20 ping, it is impossible to get 0 ping
120 hertz is 60 hz doubled by 2 , but you can see and feel the difference. switching from 120hz to 165hz is not much of a difference because 120 hz is already very smooth.
