Certainly not his best 'stuff,' in this performance, but throughout his career I've had George at the top of my list as an all-time favorite comedian. He had a way with words that very few humans can ever replicate! I still watch & listen to various clips of his routines, 50 years after I became a fan of him.
Carlin, Cosby and Pryor are my holy trinity of stand-up comedians.

compared to his last stand up special this was so subdued. i was lucky enough to see him live once. he was the GOAT in stand up comedy.
George said in his book he would use the late shows to try out new material, which was very different from comedians who brought their A material to late night shows.

I remember watching Midnight Special, my mom worked at Red Dog Dan's Saloon on weekends, so our sitter, if we could find one, would let us stay up late, no sitter, no problem, just lock the door and go to bed when you're tired. Growing up a Latch-Key-Kid gave me some survival skills lacking in this lot running around.

We are presenting these exactly as they were seen in the 1970’s. That was the aspect ratio of television sets back then , there were no wide screen tv’s.

Yeah, I understand the format is the classic 4:3, that's great. But, the actual video file on RUclips is widescreen with some black patches on the sides, There's no need for that, it can be actually a 4:3 video.
With the channel being so awesome, a detail like that makes me wonder WHY!?
