I wish the scorcher didn't run out of ammo so quickly. It can be very frustrating. As someone who just unlocked the 5th slot and got another fafnir this really helps me decide on weapons so thank you! (Music 🔥 by the way
I already have Fafnir but before I will finish my upgraded Orochi and hawk to lvl 9 then I will start upgrading my Fafnir and replace to my scorpion cuz I don't have 5th slots.
If I’m being honest, neither. I haven’t used Cryo’s in over a year, and I’m pretty disappointed with all the Ag I burned leveling up my Scorchers. I have 4 Scorchers @Mk2 lvl 3 on a Fafnir build and I already yanked it from my line up in favor of a Hawk/Hel/Sneer build I already had. All 3 of the Rocket-flamethrower weapons need some kind of buff. They’re harder to aim, run out of ammo way to soon, and take forever to reload. For now, my advice would be to steer clear of either until/if Pix gives them some kind of buff.
I like to use scorchers as a finishing volley on fafnir. Use a weapon that reloads fast in the lower set and then when you land use the scorcher volley since it empties so quick. Ive had good results combining with the pulsar to lock your target.
Huh 😶 I always used my fafnir ability when a powerful robot is shooting at me so the inbuilt weapon deals more damage and if you are going to absorb 3 sharanga attack power who are using max level Grom then you can kill anything in 1sec.
on fafnir i would go scorcher. cryo projectile speed is too low and won't work that well while fafnir is flying. while scorcher has better sustaine damage and faster projectile speed. definitely the better option.
Dang thanks for the info, I probably won’t build a scorcher because drone chips, mother ships and robots with aegis shields are being used a lot right now
If your playing in a squad the cryo can be effective because it can slow the enemy and freeze so your team can do more damage but scorcher runs out of ammo quickly so I don't really know

For some reason sinister Caro fits in the look of corrupted fafnir

I use igniters on my fafnir cause nuclear amplifier like speeds it up by 8x more, and useful against other fafnirs

If you are fighting revenant def cryo, blast charge doesn't do shit against revenant with it's ability
Better off using freeze lasers for that
