One thing I always find funny is that there are different opinions about most differences. Some like it, some think some things are shit. But almost everyone seems to like the directness after being used to it.
Dan moeten de Nederlanders wel in het Nederlands antwoordde en als er iemand in niet zo vlot Nederlands een vraag stelt. Dus niet "uit beleefdheid" overgaan naar het Engels.
Here in the south of the Netherlands we have proper lunch, not only sandwiches and cheese. We have sandwiches with cheese or ham or baked egg or whatever you want to put on your bread. Flemish is a variety of dutch; the language rules are the same but the way words are used isn’t always the same. We have the dutch variant of Indonesian food, with lots of spices in our national food. And you can find so many kinds of food from so many different countries here. Apple pay does work.
@ you can find Indonesian food in every city and almost every bigger towns. Look for an Indonesisch restaurant and not a Chinees Indonesisch restaurant because the chefs in the latter are likely chinese and not from Indonesia. In cities with a university, there are the most restaurants with foreign foods. For lunch, find a lunchroom, a cafetaria where you can also sit to eat, herberg or dutch restaurant. Maastricht is a great city to visit. Be sure to eat Limburgse vlaai there; the local specialty. Den Bosch is great too. The cathedral is a must. Remember that Den Bosch is the city of Hieronimus Bosch. Tilburg is a university city. Museum De Pont is a modern art museum and is the favorite museum of former dutch queen Beatrix. Nearby ia the textile museum, also very interesting. The area around the train station is a former train repair facility that is transformed to an area to live and go out. The library won a design price; it was the biggest hall where locomotives where repaired and several of the cranes are still inside. Rotterdam is also great. Full of modern architecture by world renowned architects. Take a boat trip through the harbor. So many places to eat.
This video is very funny keep it up! 😅
Thank you😊
