I don’t think it’s that he’d see her as more of a daughter, just that he understands her pain of being cast out if Heaven and is willing to help her acclimate easier since she wasn’t a fighter like Vaggie.

But it would be true. Theoretically, this Lucifer did nothing wrong. Yes there were some unforseen consequences to his actions, but all in all his original view was great. Give life, well, life. give them a chance to see the world. Emily is the same. Its been shown that redemption is possible, something Heaven should be happy about. but instead, they commit a cardinal sin, massacre sinners. so they cast her down? and not adam, or all the Exorcists? no they toss the one that called them out on their shit

I like the little detail of Luci putting up his, “royal facade” at the beginning. Pretending he doesn’t care too much, and being dismissive. Bragging about how any desire you have, he can fulfill. He’s joking with Charlie at first when she mentions Emily being here in Hell. But then, Charlie gets to the heart of the matter. Then, you see the real Lucifer come out. Someone caring and empathetic, a man who’s suffered so much strife, especially in the last seven years. A man that bleed so much, that he’d bleed for his daughter and the sinners sunder her protection.
Lucifer definitely the person who will understand and help. Cause you know Emily and Luci is both fallen seraphs and he will protect and make world safe and sound to person who been through the same.
I really hope we get more of this story! Seeing Lucifer and Vaggie bond with a fellow fallen angel is something I never knew I needed before now! Such a incredible dynamic to explore.

Sera is Emily's older sister(we have casting pages confirming this), and quite possibly Lucifer's as well(or they are from different angel families, Sera is ancient). Lucifer wouldn't really be a dad to her, more like a much older brother or cousin.

She's got that nervous optimism and it's conveyed so well in her lines. And the subtle emotion on Emily's voice, the uncertainty is palpable. EVEN THE STUFF HE SAYS THATS NOT WRITTEN IS SO IN CHARACTER - THE FUCKING PAUSE BEFORE HE RECOGNIZES EMILY, THE NERVOUS LAUGH WHEN HE ASKS ABOUT SERA- AKDJWNDJDH SO WELL DONE Also sound design and editing in general are ON POINT. With all the content farms flooding youtube, it's refreshing to see a great comic that understands the characters, voiced by voice actors with insane talent, and respect for the characters, too.
You can really see the words hit and process in Lucifer's brain. Honestly if he was the only one who ever fell in millenia (excluding Vaggie) he'd be extremely sorry for Emily, and, as i've seen another comment talk about... The way Lucifer spreads his wings to say *"Don't worry, you're not the only one"* is just so GOOD.
As Lucifer said he last saw her as a child. I imagine Lucifer was specially collected for Emily's sake but the fact Heaven threw another of it's CHILDREN out sickens him to no end.
If Emily falls, I think Lucifer would be the first to give her a hug and then cry as he tells her Sorry. He would know first hand how hard and painful the fall from grace is. Props to our short king!
He and the six other sins were cast out in a similar way…if anyones going to understand/be much needed support it’s him and at least Ozzie and Bee (Mammon wouldn’t care and we don’t know the other sins yet)
I uh, I couldn't help but notice the sudden change on Lucifer's part from white word balloons to black ones. Methinks he...may be a bit *miffed* *Perturbed* even.

He suffered because of Heaven, his daughter was born in hell and doesn't know better, but Emily knows Heaven and did nothing wrong. He probs hoped he'd be the only one to fall like he did, and then Em showing up like that just makes him go full on "Devil" mode.

Lucifer may be a goofball dad going through a divorce and depression at times but when things get serious so does he and that’s what I like about him 😊. He may be the most hated being to most angels to definitely not to us.

The fact that nobody can instantly tell when an angel is "Fallen" and as Vaggie has shown can even pass as Sinners tells me that Falling is bullshit and means nothing other than not being welcome in Heaven.
I love Emily and Lucifer. Emily is a good little bean with a clear sense of morals and justice. Lucifer can be awkward but he is emotionally intelligent if he tries and there when needed most. He does care, he just finds it hard to do it correctly.

I get the feeling that in this AU, Sera needs a reminder that just because she technically leads Heaven now, that doesn't mean she is in the same league as Lucifer, Michael, or their Father. Her Pride should be her downfall.

After this Lucifer might snap, and start working on actually destroying Heaven, or it's leadership. I mean if Heaven is full of corruption, then there is no way of redemption, because there is no place to be redeemed into.
Neat story here, loving Lucifer's reaction. Personally I still prefer the idea of Emily falling by her own choice on purpose; being unable to stomach not helping redeemable sinners, getting stonewalled by Sera's stubbornness and seeing no other option. A noble act of self sacrifice as opposed to a punishment. Would be pretty tragic for Sera as well, her dogged attempt to maintain her preferred status quo ends up destroying it and trying to save Emily from falling just driving her away.

Don’t worry Emily, you have a new family now, two sisters in Charlie and Vaggie, a dad in Lucifer, a BUNCH of weird but fun older brothers in Angel, Husker and Alastor, and a couple cousins in Niffty and Cheri Bomb.
I actually have this headcanon that Emily is actually Lucifer’s niece, daughter of Michael. Which I am praying to Vivziepop to make canon! Because if so and this happens…well first things first Sera would straight up die for doing this to Emily, Michael goes down to retrieve his daughter and this gives him and Lucifer a chance to talk. Finds out about the hotel, Sir Pentious and let’s just say a few changes are made.
I really wanna see Sera trying to take/convince Emily to come back to heaven for some reason, and Lucifer is just shutting that down by getting right in her face and threatening her and going full devil mode
I guess seraphims doing duets with demons might bring you to hell... BUT NOW SINCE EMILY HAS FALLEN SHE'S NOW CHARLIE'S ADOPTED SISTER YAYYAYAYAYA :))))))))))

I ffound this comic on a Hazbin Hotel Facebook group. In the comics someone had posted a pic from a different artist, with Lucifer enthusiastically telling Charlie he had adopted Emily. After the brutal emotional beating, it was nice.

Technically Vaggie didn't fall she got stranded by Adam but chose to stay because of Charlie.

I actually have this headcanon that Emily is actually Lucifer’s niece, daughter of Michael. Which I am praying to Vivziepop to make canon!
Because if so and this happens…well first things first Sera would straight up die for doing this to Emily, Michael goes down to retrieve his daughter and this gives him and Lucifer a chance to talk. Finds out about the hotel, Sir Pentious and let’s just say a few changes are made.

I really wanna see Sera trying to take/convince Emily to come back to heaven for some reason, and Lucifer is just shutting that down by getting right in her face and threatening her and going full devil mode

I ffound this comic on a Hazbin Hotel Facebook group. In the comics someone had posted a pic from a different artist, with Lucifer enthusiastically telling Charlie he had adopted Emily. After the brutal emotional beating, it was nice.
