I don't understand why this build is the meta tactic. I have yet too lose a 1v1 encounter from these over hyped walkers. I use an art car. Meta should be called metaftu (most efficient tactic available for the unskilled)
I'm not sure what the meta is for different people, in different modes. I first got the Cyclones from the previous BP and found a Small Tracks build from exhibition. I liked it. Then, I realized the Cyclones got me the CC points--if successfully used. But in general, I dislike the Cyclones altogether. They seem rather easy to strip, imo... The top CC point-getter, imo, are Porcs. Maybe Incinerators as well. But Porcs.... Just played with a clan mate today using Porcs and he broke 10k CC points using them. Going back to Cyclones... They require more work than I like to just enjoy the game. But they do have a high DPS. And, you are correct: the majority using them in CC are not using them correctly (me, included, most of the time). But with a skilled Cyclone player, or players, you have to be careful. Anyhow, more than I wanted to say without actually saying enough.
