- Using fire and dry ice to vacuum seal water in a tube. This started as a simple science experiment 'Heat Vacuum'. I realized later I might improve the vacuum by using colder temperatures as well.

You basically made a glass version of a heat pipe. Normally these are made of metal, and are very good at transfering heat because the fluid inside can be very close to boiling. You find them in stuff like laptops and computer heatsinks.
Also if you are interested in vacuum stuff, you should look into aspirator pumps. They turn a supply of running water into a vacuum, and it's basically just a tapered pipe going into a t junction. I bet you could even make one from glass. The channel nurdrage has a video where he pulls one apart and shows how it works.
awsome work mate. as per usual you have come up with a interesting experement. the dry ice was genius.
COOL CONTENT. YOU REKINDLE MY LOVE FOR GLASS EACH TIME I WATCH YOUR VIDS
Does it work as a water hammer?
