  • Glenn served in the Navy from 1971 to 1972 as a quartermaster in Vietnam, which was rare at the time for a Black man. He experienced instances of racism that left him injured and feeling unsafe among his peers. After service, he became homeless, was depressed, and, at his lowest point, tried to end his own life. A psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery center (PRRC) and PTSD support groups helped Glenn find sources of healing.

Oh, man! What a dreadful experience - absolutely shameful. What is wrong with our nation, our people, that our so-called “LEADERS” and those on down the line, that we treat OUR OWN in this way? This abominable behavior will surely reap a harvest of ill right down on our own heads.
“While the earth remains, (the LAW of) seed time and harvest shall not cease.” (Genesis 8:22). It is a LAW as sure, as certain as the LAW of gravity. What we think about, feel strongly about, say and talk about, and do … COMES ABOUT. “Don’t do to others what (the evil) you don’t want done to you!!!” Don’t do it even in your heart or in your mind! On the other hand , “DO unto others the Good you want done unto you!” The LAW works both ways. It has personal, as well as National, consequences!
Thank you for your faithful service IN SPITE OF THE EVIL DONE. You are the bigger man for it. In your story here you are teaching many things.
    MANY, MANY
    BLESSINGS.
