@@suripat i have 3 Halfbkes, version 1, 2, and 3. Anyone who is unfit will only do short rides, I agree, but after you build your stamina and ability you'll be doing longer rides if you choose. Personally I've done a few 100k's on them, and even one 100 mile ride. At 67 years old I'm not sure I'll do that again but I'll be 68 in August and planning a 68 mile ride to celebrate. I don't mean to be attacking your comment, just trying to make a gentlemanly reply. On another RUclips channel I have some videos of my rides, including thec100k's and the 100 miler. Looks very cool and different but in the real world your legs will get tired and youll want to sit and rest but theres no seat. handlebars seem too close together but I applaud the team for trying something new and different.

It is a funny standing bike for short distances only. It needs good roads. I would not recommend using it at high speed (see all possible safety issues related to a standing scooter). Otherwise it is good to have it but not for $600. $200 would be OK price for this simple machine.
the problem of this its when you are tired for to much run and dont have sit. And the other problem its the pedals have to hold all your weight(about70-80kg) and with the time that broke or dont work soo good like the old bicicle when you stund up on pedals. The pedlas are desing for make rotatory motion no to hold your weight. Its just my opinion.
well the pedal did can hold weight some technical bike like mountain bike bmx and trial the don't actually sit on seat they usually with the stand up position and I am a bmx rider my pedal still works great after 2 year of riding

Much better than the first vid. Proper handle bar (but why so short? hands so close together) and can actually tell there is a brake lever. Nice addition that person can stand on the back.

I am a happy owner of the Half bike 2. (It really is fun and turns peoples heads) The only thing I want to know is how can I get it tuned up other than a local bike shop or doing it myself? I have this problem already where it likes to lean to the left and is not as easy to ride anymore. also the handle bar rubber is braking up. Any advice would be great about the lean. Ill look up the email later to see about parts.
So I tock it into a shop and got the chain and brakes done. they are all nice and snuggle again. she is almost as good as new - the handle bar grips are kind of a pain but I think I got the lean figured out. I'm not suppressed I had to do the chain because I have been putting a lot of weight on it getting it up hills. I am having so much fun watching and seeing peoples reaction to the half bike. I hear comments like "What the fuck is that thing!" "Sick" "Wicked bike man!" but the best reaction of all is when people just blankly stare at me. People waiting at green lights holding up traffic is just to funny.

I could use one so bad. but 600$ gaaahhhh perhaps 250$ tops. a brand new full bicycle only costs 110$ at a bike shop here in new jersey.True that this is a specialty bike, but unless hand crafted by god him self, no way ill ever spend over 250$. ill wait for years to come to buy one, or just, make one myself. i own a machine shop. really really amazing idea though!

Much better than the first vid. Proper handle bar (but why so short? hands so close together) and can actually tell there is a brake lever. Nice addition that person can stand on the back.

I am a happy owner of the Half bike 2. (It really is fun and turns peoples heads) The only thing I want to know is how can I get it tuned up other than a local bike shop or doing it myself? I have this problem already where it likes to lean to the left and is not as easy to ride anymore. also the handle bar rubber is braking up. Any advice would be great about the lean. Ill look up the email later to see about parts.
So I tock it into a shop and got the chain and brakes done. they are all nice and snuggle again. she is almost as good as new - the handle bar grips are kind of a pain but I think I got the lean figured out. I'm not suppressed I had to do the chain because I have been putting a lot of weight on it getting it up hills. I am having so much fun watching and seeing peoples reaction to the half bike. I hear comments like "What the fuck is that thing!" "Sick" "Wicked bike man!" but the best reaction of all is when people just blankly stare at me. People waiting at green lights holding up traffic is just to funny.

Would it be comfortable to ride for tall people? I am 197 cm.
I am 6'3 and 180lb and I don't have a problem with it. I admit it would be more ideal for someone lighter and shorter though.

But why is it $600+?
I could use one so bad. but 600$ gaaahhhh perhaps 250$ tops. a brand new full bicycle only costs 110$ at a bike shop here in new jersey.True that this is a specialty bike, but unless hand crafted by god him self, no way ill ever spend over 250$. ill wait for years to come to buy one, or just, make one myself. i own a machine shop. really really amazing idea though!

Joe King it's clear you did no research what's-o-ever. It's a combination of a scooter, bike and skateboard. You going around say it's a trike makes no sense and makes me cringe. It applies a very good workout and is very easy to carry.

This is a TRIKE.
