We'll Nova appears in the Utlimate Spiderman cartoon and in that cartoon his mentor was rocket,so that explains why he's in guardians of the galaxy and ultimate spiderman playset. I believe that Nova became part of The Avengers Away,so that's why he's in the avengers playset.
