Wow, then you have been one of the lucky ones. I've had 3 off of the 870K on my workbench for extencive repairs through the years. Drivetrain issues. Hydraulic leaks. The 198 I have heard good about, as an upgrade version of the 870
Thats because i do not run my 870 in high gear. It weighs 45 lbs. So stopping and going in high gear is not good and i only use diff lock when i need to dig in a straight line. I never turn with the diff lock on thats also a no no. the only thing i don't like about the 198 is it's only about 38 lbs. You need the weight for these machines to work properly.

Good looking loader a lighter in weight than my 870k I can’t find if this has lock diffs? I could see me getting this
