i have always liked the look of lacerda games but have yet to actually pull the trigger on any on his games i was tempted to go with either this or on mars. great video mike!
I absolutely love Vital's games. What fascinates me the most is the inter-connectedness hidden within the simplicity of the actions. In Vinhos you get 12 actions in the entire game (along with some bonus actions depending on how you play). The Gallerist is a worker placement game with only four spots to place your worker. With Lisboa, on your turn you play a card and pick up a card. However, you pull that one lever and it is like watching domino's fall. The man is a genius at game design and IMHO, The Gallerist is not only his best game, but the best one to play solo due to the simplicity of the AI and the predictability of it's actions, which allows you to exploit it for the extra kick out actions. I also highly recommend CO2 second chance which also plays great solo. It too has a simple to run solo experience with very deep game play. However, I do commend you for giving this game a chance, especially if heavy euros aren't your jam.
Can you compare Kanban EV solo with Gallerist solo? I adore K EV solo system and I would like to try another Lacerda's game for solo. Is gallerist good choice?

Thanks! I am planning to cover Lisboa and Vinhos eventually (have them both), but don't have a copy of On Mars. I've heard positive things though!
One Stop Co-op Shop Vinhos is, iIMHO, is the simplest in his series with On Mars a s Lesboa at the top.
Patrons voted for Lisboa next, so I guess I’ll be going pretty complex!
One Stop Co-op Shop 😂 all it is, is put a card down and draw a card. Easy.
very balanced and fair review, great job
Thank you so much!

I’ve been hearing good things about CO2, so definitely want to check that out. Thanks for watching!

Great review Lisboa soon??!
That's my next Lacerda I want to cover. I have the deluxe box waiting, so maybe in January.
Ah "limited shelf life"
Caught that little nugget, did you? ;)
