And besides, Alain is similar to Fire Emblem Prince Marth, and Celeste is similar to the Princess Caeda. Lol. I didn't spare Gammel on my first playthrough, because I wanted the people who he wronged to evaluate him and not me. specially sinced I was being a bit pressured by Clive to not spare him and I just listened to my troops (I was also a bit mad he kept steeling from me and running away, and that made me a bit salty) ... but I end up feeling so bad after, I ended up spared every single person after that.
Right now Travis, Lex, and Clive are my bros. I am not going after Berengaria or Monica out of respect for my bros. Travis and Alain where literally the only living units after combat that made beating Amelia possible.
I personally felt Dinah was a less popular choice plus i liked the idea. As for your explanation while i will NEVER suit i will say that i kinda grew out of it and that i just admired the fact they were able to make anthromorph characters and NOT give them all human legs. Really shows the people were dedicated to the work and also i dont see alot of "were-folk" stories having good endings for both so its a nice difference
As an Amalia guy, I will say this: I don't care if I survive. I played that darn arena mode to death and followed youtube tutorials on how to recruit her and by god if I die on my wedding night with her, I shall die the happiest man on the planet.

I also think Yunifi is great, just like the dynamic a lot, and her final rapport did also hir my heart strings. (she's also strong af) Elto is great, saw her final rapport and... pretty much felt like they dating already ngl.
