if Charcoal filter/ Carbon filter is available in the chimney then , it will be Ductless chimney. Many ducted chimney also come with the provision for carbon filter. It means a duct chimney also use as ductless by using carbon filter in it. But online it is very difficult to check the type of chimney, because most of the chimney are ducted.
so better to buy offline for ductless chimney.

I have heard that a few models which are bydefault designed for duct Chimney can be used as ductless Chimney by adding a filter provided by company with some additional cost. Is tis information right ?
Yes it is right, you can use charcoal filter in some ducted Chimney to make ductless.

Very nice presentation ..Easy to understand the difference ..My one question to you that exhaust fan required in the kitchen for ductless chimney because there is no provision of exhaust fan in my kitchen so you please explain ..I am interested to install ductless chimney due to space problem .. if you have space then you can fit exhaust fan with ductless chimney otherwise chimney will also work good without exhaust fan.

My kitchen is around 7' x 8' we have 4 burner gas ,which Chimany will you prefer 60 cm or 90 cm .as we never keep 4 burner on .Also no chance for duct pipe to go out .will duct less chimany work fine ?
90cm is best & 60 cm is good in this situation. if no duct option then duct less chimney is good solution.

My doubt is how much distance suitable for duct chimney to throw out the smoke from chimney.
Eg. In my is kitchen middle of the home.... And I want to outlet the pipe from backside then own itself how much it take. Near about 20 feet distance is here. Can I use one exhaust fan at out side ?
10 to 12 feet is good for better performance. Yes You can try to use exhaust fan to increase the suction power.
But honestly speaking, I have not experienced this type of arrangement till now. Chimney + exhaust fan together.
Hole size is also important, 6 to 9 inch is good.
Please share your experience after installation.

In Online mostly ducted option are available, please check in the local market for ductless chimney options. . Because they will install in better way.
