around 22:00 when you said 'look what came in the mail' and showed that box, i said to my self 'i bet there's plants in that there box'. and i was right !
Ecuagenera is top shellers!! Amazingly good shipping, plants and prices!!!! Mine came in excellent condition planted in aroid soil with the healthiest roots I ever experienced in my many plant shipments by other shellers!.I definitely recommend them! Greetings from Greece!
Loved the video! I live in costa rica, I produce anthurium and some other plants, here the tropical climate is just perfect, and it makes me so happy to see people in countries where tropical plants would not live naturally, and making it work for them♥ something I would have done differently is that I would have left the leaf of the first anthurium, as long as it is green, it will help with the photosynthesis, I only remove leaves if the root structure is not big enough. Sooomething else I highly recommend is using mycorrhizae, is a beneficial fungus that helps the plant with the stress. It is worth it ♥ Warm greetings from costa rica!
Yeah it was defo a process making them live well in my enviroment, but I think they're happy now! I didn't end up removing that leaf entirely, I just cut off the bit that was slimy and would have gone mouldy. So I have a bit of a funky shaped remaining leaf :) thanks for all the advice!
Place an order because of you Emma! Surprisingly there were some plants in stock today and checkout was pretty smooth. Hopefully the plants will arrive safely.
@@GoodGrowing Luckily there was a father's day sale (?) and I could get two plants- anthurium crystallinum and magnificum. Fingers crossed they would arrive in a nice condition and looking forward to your rehab video!
This is a great video!!! It answered a ton of questions and squelched my curiosity. You should do a few videos from different importers from different countries and compare the differences in the process. Equageran is great cause they take care of the import and phytosanitary for you, for the most part but I'm curious on how to go about that on your own.
Thanks! Yeah I'm curious to try out importing from other places but I have no idea where to begin when it comes to phytosanitary certs or plant passports or anything like that. If I do import from anywhere else, I'll be sure to bring you all along in the process :)
Yes! I did an acclimation video which followed the plants for a month or so as I transitioned them to their new home. And I show them in various monthly update videos so have a look at those, but I can make a dedicated video on how they're dong nearly a year later!
I totally feel on the site-crashing for hoursssss and how frustrating it is. They restocked today and it took me 2 HOURS to check out :/ Last time it took me 45 minutes the last time they restocked (probably the time you filmed this?). But I think it's totally worth it haha I LOVE their customer service, quality of the plants/shipping, and everything they provide!
Didn't seem like horrible pricing by any means. If one does buy internationally, they have to expect some sort of import fees and shipping costs. Great video!
Yeah I thought the pricing was great considering how far they had to travel and that the cost of any of those plants was easily double or triple if I bought locally! Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :)
For the longest time I've been missing a single Brugmansia species that you can only find in Equador! Brugmansia Vulcanicola which means "volcanic soil loving brugmansia" in Latin and yet its 12 inch flowers coincidentally look like a volcano erupting in a cola bottle. Great video as always! :) Love your hair btw
Hi I know this is an old video, I want to order from them put not sure if it will get here or how it works with Brexit or is there nothing I need to worry about
Hey! I think I ordered this after brexit was in effect, so nothing would have changed since I got these. As far as I know, you have nothing to worry about :) good luck!
Customs may have sprayed your plants down - I’ve heard of this being done with imports here in the US, could be why they’re wet? But great video! I’m always so scared to import but you may have convinced me to try!
Show us how to acclimate the plants please. Also I like the Cruela vibes.
Yes I'm filming it as I go along with the acclimation and will compile it all once I feel like they've adjusted enough! And thanks

Ooh glad to hear you've also had good experiences from them.
Great haul! Yes please do the acclamation/rehab video.
Thanks! I defo will! Hopefully they all adjust fine
Excellent video. Thanks for all the info and thanks for sharing.
Ahh I've heard so many good things about ecuagenera! Glad everything looked alright!
Yeah I was really happy with it overall. I was expecting much worse condition :)
Loved the video!

Hahaha I'm so sorry 😅but also super excited for you! What did you get?

Thanks for the shipping price breakdown
I’m up for the acclimating process 🙋🏼♀️ loooooove all those plants 🌱❤️
Me too yes please :)
Yayyy yeah I'm filming it as I go and will compile it all once I feel like they've acclimated enough :)
I just found this girl from digging some plant lover on youtube and damn she is beautiful especially when she can pull of that hair.
9:11 Thanks for being like that😂😂
haha I know no other way 😂
I totally went and checked that site out! Awesome! Thanks will be ordering!!
Ooh what are you gunna get?
@@GoodGrowing I already have a looooooong list lol
importing/exporting can be expensive! not really surprised, i think it was reasonable :)
Would have loved to see a root inspection. Maybe for a future video if you ever have them unpotted during the rehab process. Thanks for this vid!
I did a whole acclimation video where you get a much better look at the roots. Have a look at that :)
@@GoodGrowing will do!
...everything is fine... :D I felt that.
Did you know that now its not that expensive? Because they send the plants from Germany if you go to their Europe website 🌱
Yeah the prices are defo getting much lower now! Maybe I'll order from their European website going forward!
can we please have an update on the plants 🥲💞

Yes I would love an update! :)
will defo be updating soon! Keep an eye out in the next few weeks :)

Oooh I've just looked those up and they're gorgeous! Maybe ecuagenera have it?? And thanks
can anyone tell me the cut off date for uk delivery please 🙏

Please do a video on acclimating they have so many plants i want 😭🤣idk if I'm ballsy enough to try
I'm working on it right now 😉should be going up in the next few weeks
these are beautiful i would love to see an acclimation video
I'm making one now! Should be up in the next couple of weeks!
Customs may have sprayed your plants down - I’ve heard of this being done with imports here in the US, could be why they’re wet? But great video! I’m always so scared to import but you may have convinced me to try!
Hmm interesting! Maybe they did and then packed them back up nicely??
@@GoodGrowing could have also been the humidity inside of the plastic. Since the moss was moist, maybe it created a nice little wet climate?
Did you have to pay any customs fees because with Brexit the rules changed ????
The ecuagenera site crashes more than a hotwheels car
Hi hello. There is a bit of blonde on your brunette side. Beautiful plants 🤩💚💚
Haha yeah they get a bit mixed sometimes... my part isn't naturally in the middle 😅
Nice! I’ve been wanting to order from there as well. And yes please show us how you set them up and how they adjusted to your environment. 🪴
I am currently working on that video :) should be up in the next couple of weeks
