- When I first unboxed Wotancraft's New Pilot 18L Camera Backpack, I knew it would be popular. It was the perfect size for an everyday camera backpack for those that carry a decent amount of gear while working in the field or traveling. It was so popular that Wotancraft sold out of their initial batch right away and quickly started production on their second batch. They even told me not to produce any more videos until they could finish making more, which is now!!
After a month of using this camera bag in the field, this has become my favourite camera backpack. In this video, I share with you how I pack it out for my current review gear while walking through the streets of Vancouver. Comment down below and let me know if you have any questions.

Killer post BHT ! Been using the hell out of my Wotancraft 10L ! Love the brand ! 🫡
Enjoyed your podcast with Bo as well . I was on there too a while back . All the best ! ✌🏼
That’s great, the 10L is the only Pilot I haven’t reviewed yet. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it. As for Bo, he’s a great guy. I hope to meet up with him at some point. Thanks for watching!
What’s that black divider you used as a door between the two dividers?
Great review, mine just landed in the US so I should have it in a few days. I have other Wotancraft gear and I love all their stuff. Just curious, will the 3.5L pack you showed fit in the top of the 18L? That would be a nice small carry bag for when I'm traveling and want to pull that out of the top and just carry my a7rv with 24-70mm 2.8.
Hi can I pick your brain about comparing the Pilot 18L to the Peak design everyday tote pack v2 you reviewed in the past I feel they are similar in size functions although off the bet Wotan is a better carry for longer hours. I'm wondering which bag can carry more gear and is better for travel.
The Minolta XD 😍
I love it!!
great vid, does it stand up when on the ground?
Yes it does, except when I attach all the extra modules on the outside. It must be the balance, that’s why I moved the cell-phone module to the side, to balance out weight distribution.
@@bigheadtaco Great, ordered one, wont be using much attachments, only ordered the phone pouch for external use, those things tend to flop around a bit and that does me in a little, answered the question as to where i heard about wotancraft as RUclips BHT
@@jackschrier3717 congrats and thanks :-) Let me know what you think once you get it. I've noticed depending on how I pack my bag, sometimes it stays standing, other times it falls down. I think the biggest issue is me putting too many attachments, so you shouldn't have a problem.
@@bigheadtaco yeah its in and it is quite awesome indeed, i need to figure out how to best set it up i think but it is light, handsome, easy to organise, and it does stand up for me, great edc bag… sadly, now i also want the Commander :-(
@@jackschrier3717 The Pilot backpack is awesome, but the Commander backpack is awesomer.... but congrats!!
