so by the specs they are pretty close if the corvette is the zr1. by hp the mustang has it by 420hp and 390 torque. corvette has 375hp to 370lb torque. but the corvette is setup aerodynamically better, is lower to the ground and is 400lbs lighter. It also sits about 3.6 inches off the ground. If that matters. In the end it is the driver but never underestimate the c4. I happen to have the 1993 and I could take the mustang pretty easily maybe. my car is lighter, which makes the car a bit faster in a sense. The suspension and ride are also great. Again aerodynamically on a track the vette has the win but the mustang can and should hold its own. perhaps in a race it may even go back and fourth but then it all deopends on the driver lol.
