Man, Josh wasn't lying-FD doesn't give a fuck. The site was down for at least half an hour before lock and it wasn't fixed until three of the four contests were underway. You couldn't enter a tournament, cancel an entry, or edit lineups. Still, no automatic refund. I sent an email to support and they asked me to find the contest ID, entry number, and amount spent. I'm still waiting to see if I'll be refunded for the 25 dummy lineups I couldn't edit or cancel. I always preferred the FD layout, but I'm shifting to DK. EDIT: I received a response. They're "holding off on issuing any compensation until further details are confirmed." What details need to be confirmed? They had a banner plastered at the top of the site apologizing for the technical difficulties. They know exactly what happened.
Similar situation for me. I live chatted with a "real person" who was about as responsive and helpful as a bot would be. I couldn't even get a real answer to whether or not I would be refunded. Just a vague assurance. Weird. And not acceptable, at all.
DK aint any better. The same thing happened to them last year during the playoffs. They only ended up issuing refunds to lineups that were blank. Dummy lineups didnt get refunded, and the people who had lineups in but didnt get a chance to edit based on news didnt get refunded. Josh knows this very well.
