Hyunjun-ah, I know there’s very little chance you’ll see this, as there are far more important fans who need you more than I do, but I thought I’d try anyway. I wanted to thank you for being an inspiration to so many people, and especially to me. The way that you’ve so faithfully driven toward your dream despite your mental and physical setbacks is truly incredible. I also wanted to let you know that I understand exactly how you feel. You see, last December, I started striving to learn how to dance because the groups I watched (including The Boyz) made dancing so beautiful I wanted to try. However, last February, when I was teaching some of my friends a couple of dance moves, I misstepped and injured my left ankle. I foolishly didn’t seek out help because I was in college, and therefore I was too busy and I didn’t have proper transportation. Because of this, my ankle healed incorrectly. I finally saw a doctor back in June, and he said I’d become flat footed and had weakened my ankle. He gave me treatment plans that worked for a bit, but now the pain and the popping in my ankle are coming back even worse - I haven’t even been doing anything strenuous. It’s now getting to the point where my doctor thinks it might be a permanent injury - it’ll never heal. So I took to trying to find something else to do that I could make my new dream. I got back into drawing and writing, which I’d always been good at. Yet I soon discovered that my wrist was weak as well, and it also has a permanent injury. Not as bad as my ankle, but bad enough that I can’t draw or write except on the really, really good days. I know what it’s like to lose your dream. To feel empty and useless because it seems like everything you worked for was suddenly wrenched away from you in one awful moment. To wonder if you’ll ever find a dream or something you love to do again. To wonder if people will ever see you as useful again. I struggled with it a lot. But then I remembered you. I remembered everything you’d gone through in your time with The Boyz, and how you always felt bad after having to leave in the middle of filming or after having to sit down during a performance. And then you left and how heart-breaking it was for everyone, especially you. I know you understand how I feel - and I know I understand how you feel. But the thing I remember most about you now is how you inspired me to keep going. You still produce beautiful music and you still use your good looks to fulfill your dreams. You still keep in contact with the people you love and the fans you have. You still smile and laugh despite everything life has unfairly thrown at you. You have taught me that there is always a dream out there I can find that suits me. It may not be the dream I wanted or the dream I used to have, but it’s the dream that was given to me that I will make the most of. But most importantly, you taught me that the people around me are the ones I should be concerned about. Not my dreams, not my fears, not my doubts, no, not even my limitations. In the end, life is about how we impact and inspire the people around us; how we give them hope and a second chance; how we give them another dream; how we love them unconditionally. Because the people that come into our lives - past, present, and future - they are the only dream that really matters. Thank you, Hyunjun-ah, for teaching me that. My friends are my dream. Stella Valentina Exactly! My family doesn’t understand why I listen to and love K-Pop so much, but it’s because through K-Pop, I’ve found people who understand me, who are my voice, who are my home. I may not be able to meet any of these idols in person, which saddens me, but just knowing that they exist and they understand me makes me feel like they care about me. For now, that’s enough. And since they are my home, I want to take that inspiration they’ve given me and give it to someone else. Others may not have a home to go to. I do. So through K-Pop, I may become someone else’s home. In the end, that makes all this pain I’m going through worth it.
i cried reading this. i grew up in the spotlight as a dancer and after my mom lost her job as dance teacher, i basically gave up dancing. its been a few years since then but reading this made me want to dance again 🥺

Just came here because I just finished watching Colour Rush and could not believe such a person exists. He is literally one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen. Ironically, it's almost like *I* experienced a "Colour Rush" myself. Those eyes completely took my breath away in the drama and it's not an exaggeration to say that I was starstruck. And from this song, the web drama (which is insanely good, and emotional) and his dancing on insta he's clearly far more than just a pretty face. Can't wait to see more of what he will do in future.

Seré muy rebuscada, pero siento que en está y vo!d les está hablando a deobi cuando dice "decias que me amabas" y eso que la ve en las luces que brillaba, o que solo brillaba con la luz de ella (algo así, no sé bien la traducción) y a *hurshey* cuando dice "me amaras si pierdo mi camino" y bueno, un montón de partes más... No, se, pero para mí las dos son muy tristes y como el cuenta que tenía casi todo encaminado (The Boyz) y tuvo que dejarlo, y perdió su camino, ahora no lo puede encontrar y que puede ser todo para nosotr@s si lo queremos, o puede ser el final. Como que todo depende si lo apoyamos o no. Y que tiene miedo de reconocer que ya no es más un Idol, se niega a olvidarnos y reconocer que es alguien "normal" por eso se esconde en su mundo y sigue intentando mantener eso último que le queda de todo lo que una vez tuvo, sus fans. Mescle las dos canciones y me trabe un poco porque me cuesta ponerlo en palabras propias, más que apenas entiendo algo inglés jaja... en fin, aunq nadie me lea, solo quería descargar un poco, estoy muy triste por el y espero que muchas personas lo apoyen y siga creciendo como artista.
