And he is utterly right for calling out man children for being such. Don't shitty up kids experiences just because you can't handle the idea of having missed out some experience.
There are plenty of things going on in a Disney theme park that adults can appreciate. That's just a rational understanding of theme parks. Pyrion is being completely unreasonable with his assessment, which appears to be based on whatever bias he has against Disney and ignorance.
It still baffles me how close minded Pyrion is. It's fine to say "in my opinion blah blah blah" but he brings it in such a matter of fact manner. Come on dude, there is a reason millions of adults and kids love Disney, the parks, the movies and the songs. I am 26 and I love the songs in the disney movies (not so much the new stuff) and I love the stories the movies tell. I am an adult, but that doesn't mean I can relife my childhood and experience new wonderful movies which, a lot of the time, are really touching and emotional.
Pyrion lives in his own head. That's the main reason. Someone he trusts will say a thing and if it gets in, "suddenly" he comprehends. A lot like a grandparent who watches Fox. They will live thinking a thing or coming to a conclusion and never think it could ever be wrong. That is were Pyrion lives, in his head until someone he feels he can trust says something that should have been obvious given ANY thought for a few seconds, but not once did he think that was needed. That goes back to "Why all these dudes complaining, we're just talking like old dudes conversing with each other in a pub, and I don't think anyone should butt into that!" and then Sips says "Yeah, but we make a podcast about it, if we were in a pub, we don't.". I'm not scared of Freddie Krueger attacking me late at night, because he's a dream demon or something weird y'know, it's not an actual threat. I'm scared of getting mugged and shot/stabbed late at night because you fear things that might hurt you. People fear heights because they can kill you. Freddy Krueger and the thing can't kill you. Take your kids sometime as an excuse but actually try to enjoy it via it's rides and stuff not just the things designed for kids. I've been to a clinic nearby that is all eastern european doctors. I wonder why. Just thoughts. have a nice day, regardless. or try to , i guess.
i’ve gotta say it’s incredibly strange that Pyrions children are not scared of the thing but cant watch someone getting their finger cut. Who gives a shit about someone getting their finger cut, sure its not pleasant but compared to the fucking dogs splitting open and getting eaten alive and the men having to put them out of their misery……???!!!wtf
Because when a monster eats a guy it's fake. It's not real. It was done with special effects from the 1700s too so it's fake AND it looks fake. But slicing your hand with a knife or getting a needle put in you is a real thing that could really happen to you. The suspension of disbelief is the only thing making a monster movie scary, but when it has old ass effects the suspension of disbelief is a lot thinner
@@squegeemcgee2403 I remember being afraid Animal from The Muppets would eat me from the feet up if my feet were out from under the covers, but Animal would eat my neck and down my body if I didn't keep a tight fit around my neck. And Animal was my fave.
SOME of the reason would be "it is an unreasonable and obviously fictitious death, so is not scary", but it depends on connecting what you see to what your brain has as a gap for it. That's why we want kids to read and do homework, or lots of mingling with others: so that they have more to connect new things learned to.
@@markhackett2302 animal from the muppets is real tho. He's not claymation or cgi he's a real thing that really moves and can really interact with people. Animal from the muppets could actually "attack" you if you went on the Muppet show, y'know? Besides, that's when you were 5, not flax's kids ages
@@squegeemcgee2403 But animal really will eat you if your feet are out of the covers, right?????
No.
Kids make all sorts of weird connections, but if that connection doesn't happen, it doesn't end up in their brains. We call that "not learning". The reason why we make kids take years to finish school is so that they have more things for learning to connect to.
warning: if you are an empathetic and/or sympathetic male, the beginning of this podcast might be hard to listen to
I agree with Pyrions take on Disneyland to be fair
I use bozo in my every day life, I think it has more impact because people expect you to tell them to fuck off etc. That and a hearty thumbs down when on the road.
Pyrion, i think you should try and better inform yourself on Disney parks, specifically in their documentaries on how intricately their designers try to make the parks as immersive as possible and fun for parents and kids alike. It's an experience in it's entirety that you can't just base off of what you've heard by other people. Take your kids sometime as an excuse but actually try to enjoy it via it's rides and stuff not just the things designed for kids. There's a reason why they have like half a dozen parks that adults would kill to visit each one of, and you really have to have experienced it to understand.
pyrion likes big thrilling rollercoasters and doesnt enjoy most disney intellectual property. of course they invest huge amounts of money in design because they have huge amounts of money. one yt doc doesnt make you an expert, just let the old man be grumpy
No. Pyrion is right.
@@ALotOfCancer No, Pyrion and you are utterly wrong.
There are adults targeted for as well as kids. People in Disney marketing are PAID to pander to grown ups. That it doesn't work on YOU is no more relevant than Footie doesn't work on me, but probably does on you, or DOTA marketing works on Pyrion, but not me, no FOMA from me on either DOTA or Footie. Or for me Disney parks, either, but SOME do, and I don't pretend I AM RIGHT because I don't fall for the FOMO you or pyrion does, I accept YOU EXIST. But you can't.
@@markhackett2302it's an opinion. Why the fuck do you care so much about his opinion. Jesus grow uppp
@@iplaylol25 No, it was a claim as of fact, not opinion, so he is 100% wrong, and you are wrong to claim it was opinion when it wasn't, and also wrong to claim I should not care or that I have not grown up sufficiently.
So eff off, kid.
Pyrion has always been the worst part of the Triforce podcast - he has the most garbage opinions
Someone please bring Pyrion to Dinsey Land already
who decides what’s for kids and what’s for adults? i don’t think u need an excuse who cares just let ppl enjoy stuff
Vasectomy?
Google?
Ah, the overgrown children sure got super upset at Pflax calling them out for being childish and enjoying children's entertainment, while also making it shittier for actual kids.
Sorry, but if you are old enough to pay taxes you should not be making children's entertainment worse just because you aren't mature enough to accept missing out on certain experiences.
So, what will be "his" name after the procedure? Edwardine?
You haven't really thought this joke through have you?
Well, now we know what's in your internet search history...
I don't know what is more sad when a man giving up the thing that makes him a man - thinking that it's an order from his wife and he is just a big pussy, or making self harm just to make others think that someone with 2 kids and almost in his 50s is still having sex (which is a joke alone).
the ability to produce sperm does not make someone a man
Do you think people hit 50 and their sex drive just evaporates overnight?
@@flavortown9426 I don't think, I know. When you get your 2nd child, your sex drive slams on the brakes and changes gears to reverse. And when you hit 50, it goes into negative. At 50, the thing that gives you an orgasm is getting up in the morning without anything hurting.
It’s over
Blows my mind that people who think like this watch the same content i do. How fucking stupid hahaha
