    It still baffles me how close minded Pyrion is. It's fine to say "in my opinion blah blah blah" but he brings it in such a matter of fact manner. Come on dude, there is a reason millions of adults and kids love Disney, the parks, the movies and the songs. I am 26 and I love the songs in the disney movies (not so much the new stuff) and I love the stories the movies tell. I am an adult, but that doesn't mean I can relife my childhood and experience new wonderful movies which, a lot of the time, are really touching and emotional.

    • @markhackett2302
      @markhackett2302 Год назад +19

      Pyrion lives in his own head. That's the main reason. Someone he trusts will say a thing and if it gets in, "suddenly" he comprehends. A lot like a grandparent who watches Fox. They will live thinking a thing or coming to a conclusion and never think it could ever be wrong. That is were Pyrion lives, in his head until someone he feels he can trust says something that should have been obvious given ANY thought for a few seconds, but not once did he think that was needed. That goes back to "Why all these dudes complaining, we're just talking like old dudes conversing with each other in a pub, and I don't think anyone should butt into that!" and then Sips says "Yeah, but we make a podcast about it, if we were in a pub, we don't.". And "suddenly" Pyrion instead of thinking how his anger at others is justified, is made to consider how those other people would be justified by someone who put a TINY bit of thought to how that would happen.

      Honestly, I've started a new job that gives me time to listen to the Triforce for nearly 8 hours a day, so I restarted it. Just today I listened to episode #35 where Pyrion constantly says stuff like "They're not listening to the other side, they're looking for something that proves their point." And he is soooo hypocritical.
      It wouldn't be the same without him, love Pyrion in these, but sometimes he just has the *worst* opinions and he just refuses to see his own hypocrisy and not-quite-narcissism, but I don't know what to call it. That "If I don't like it, nobody should" viewpoint.
      Prime example of that: The death stranding conversation where Pyrion's opinion as (paraphrasing, but essentially): It doesn't have a point, everything has to have a point and if it doesn't have a point it is bad.
      Both Lewis and Sips gave several examples of games he liked that fit and Pyrion steadfastly dug his heels in and refused to even acknowledge them. It's actually the most frustrating episode of the Triforce podcast, at least for me. And I honestly don't even remember which one it was. Relatively recently, probably after 150 at least.

Rock and Roller Coaster, Guardians of the Galaxy, most of the Star Wars stuff, flying one of those blue things from Avatar, some of the best rides I've ever been on. The measures they go to to push the bounds of what coasters can do, the lengths they go to immerse you in the "magic", its just straight impressive no matter your age. Me and my folks couldn't stop jabbering about the engineering and architecture. The food is good (but very expensive) with vegetarian and vegan options. Some of the cocktails they make slap. Man, Pyrion really gets on my nerves when he goes on about certain stuff. Preface: I'm not a Disney fan, nor have I been to their parks, but I know what's there bc at this point who doesn't. Not only are there plenty of things for adults to enjoy at Disney parks (they even serve alcohol at some of them!), I don't really think "You're too old for that" is a valid reason to shit on someone for enjoying *anything.* ~15 years ago, LEGO was mainly a kid thing, so much that the term AFOL (Adult fans of Lego) was coined to represent this new demographic. Same thing happened with video games early on.
    In fact, those latter two things are, I think, identical to theme parks in this sense. They all started out as something "for kids," but adults took an interest and they started making products/parks geared toward adults.
    So my question for Pyrion is, why don't you shame adults for playing Nintendo games? Or building Lego sets "meant for kids?" The whole argument is nonsense.

I'm not scared of Freddie Krueger attacking me late at night, because he's a dream demon or something weird y'know, it's not an actual threat. I'm scared of getting mugged and shot/stabbed late at night because you fear things that might hurt you. People fear heights because they can kill you. Freddy Krueger and the thing can't kill you. Ah, the overgrown children sure got super upset at Pflax calling them out for being childish and enjoying children's entertainment, while also making it shittier for actual kids.
    Sorry, but if you are old enough to pay taxes you should not be making children's entertainment worse just because you aren't mature enough to accept missing out on certain experiences.

    I don't know what is more sad when a man giving up the thing that makes him a man - thinking that it's an order from his wife and he is just a big pussy, or making self harm just to make others think that someone with 2 kids and almost in his 50s is still having sex (which is a joke alone).

      Do you think people hit 50 and their sex drive just evaporates overnight?

      @@flavortown9426 I don't think, I know. When you get your 2nd child, your sex drive slams on the brakes and changes gears to reverse.And when you hit 50, it goes into negative. At 50, the thing that gives you an orgasm is getting up in the morning without anything hurting.
