  • Amazon Timestream that makes it easy for application developers and DevOps to run open-source InfluxDB databases on AWS for near real-time time-series applications. Time-series databases are increasingly being used to store and analyze repeated data observations for use cases such as monitoring IT infrastructure or industrial processes. Trends found in time-series data can detect failures, improve reliability, and predict user behavior. Now, customers can quickly build and run time-series applications and dashboards that are updated by queries with millisecond response times, while Amazon Timestream for InfluxDB manages the time-consuming database administration tasks of running open-source InfluxDB, such as patching, backups, failure detection, repair, and recovery. With Timestream for InfluxDB, customers with on-premises or self-managed open-source InfluxDB databases can create a managed instance that is automatically configured for optimal performance and availability. Additionally, Timestream for InfluxDB customers will have the choice to procure new features from InfluxData that enhance performance and scalability beyond what is available in open-source through offerings in the AWS Marketplace. With Timestream for InfluxDB, there are no upfront costs, licenses, or commitments required, and customers only pay for the resources used.
