Psalm 122 - Coming to the House of the LORD and the City of God

- Psalm 122 is the third of a series of 15 psalms each with the title, A Song of Ascents. It is one of the four Songs of Ascents that is specifically attributed to King David. He wrote it both for what Jerusalem was in his day, and for what it would become under his son and their successors. David perhaps never made pilgrimage from a great distance to one of the major feasts, but he wrote Psalm 122 in the voice of one who did, and who had arrived at the Holy City.

To pastor David guzik I admire your teaching you are a man full of humility and humbleness. I have a problem. Is it alright to be baptized by a woman pastor? I have no church of my own but I believe in Jesus long time ago but yet to be baptize at that time until the time that COVID struck. I live in Malaysia a Muslim country. I finally found someone to have me baptized during lockdown for there be no one to baptize me at that time. I am baptized at a church with two friends and one woman who prayed unto God for my baptism in the name of God the father The Son and the Holy Spirit. The woman is leading the prayer for my baptism and she is the pastor of the church. It is set specifically for me for I long for 40 years to be baptized. So pastor is it lawful for God to have me baptized by a woman pastor? It is arranged in a hasty manner and it happened to be in this way ( in the night)your opinion is most helpful. For there be no one available at that time please answer thanks. God bless you Amen.

Sadly, there is no good church in my area anymore.
The Pastors leave.
One by an Accident
One moved to Florida
Another moved.
Many I've tried were nothing like the Church I was saved in years ago.
Most are social clubs.
They don't bring their Bible.
They cancel Wed Study group
etc.
May God keep you through His Word and His Spirit residing in you🌹

Psalm 122 points to Jesus! Jesus is judge. He sits on the throne of the house of David. Jesus is the master of the house. Jesus is building a house. We are the living stones. Jesus is rejoicing.
