Ariel's communication has changed a lot since your first video of her. You guys have done a great job with her. Your sister is a natural with her. I love the fact that you don't treat her as a child with special needs but just as a child.

I want to chime in here too. I think taking her to places like Disney World where there’s so much stimulation and things to see, will overall be a positive thing for her. Sitting in a classroom or in a house all day won’t help her develop.

Watching these family videos have had me crying. The one big important thing to my mom when she became a Grandma was taking all the Grandkids to Disney for their first time. She made sure she did that. She passed this past December and I miss her, but these videos make me happy like she did.
My favorite thing about the family blog this time was watching Ariel blossom and squeal with laughter!!! Truly amazing!!!! Love watching all your videos but these were my favorite!!!!

Bonnie dresses Ariel like such a lovely little lady. That is so nice. My soon has special needs. He is 33 now and is working as an apprentice for his journeyman card. All of our love and hard work paid off.
My son is special needs as well . He just turned 18 and just passed his first OSHA safety test ! It’s such a wonderful feeling knowing all the hard work sweat and tears we as parents put into our kids to have it pay off in the end . It’s unfortunate not all special needs children get that outcome tho !

Nate these videos with you family…especially considering Ariel’s special needs…are my absolute favorites. So pure. What Disney is really about at its core. What a sport she is too! When my niece was almost 8, I took her and she complained and cried almost the entire time. Those moments when she didn’t were absolutely perfection for me. Ariel seemed to have no fear. I truly hope they come back soon, maybe to do a week around the holidays to see her reaction to that! Anyway, thank you

Ariel reminds me so much of my daughter at this age when she was at Disney for the first time on her Wish trip...it brings back all of those memories. Brings me great joy!
