Amazing, William Bialek is a favorite, hope to see more like this.
Bialek is a fantastic teacher, because he really masters his stuff. When he talked about the law of large numbers, I thought had the idea that I would love to see W. Bialek and Nassim Taleb working together in an advanced shared lecture series about statistical physics with view on biology and on economics. Taleb (Prof. of fat tail distributions, black swan ;-) would pull the audience out of the usual belief in "reasonably well behaved" and validity of the law of great numbers. Imagine these two guys teaching together, even if they may collide occasionally - or may be especially if they disagree.
