- Commercial forests are long-term production cycles - it could be 50 to 100 years from the day a sapling is planted until the mature tree is harvested. Since 1967, the OECD forest reproductive material scheme has facilitated trade and helped ensure that the seeds and saplings planted by foresters are the ones they intended to use.

Sad that in Europe foresting is not valued. Farmers who cut trees to make farm land are getting big money support. Meanwhile forest owners get almost nothing and have to pay big taxes cause they own forest... Forest gives us clean air to breath without trees all humans and creatures will die ... Fuck this world ...

Climate has been changeing millions of years. Why everybody thiks thats like some new thing?
because the rate at which it has changed recently is absolutely unprecedented. the climate changes slowly over tens of thousands of years, and plants and animals can adapt. not the same story when the earth warms 4 or 7 degrees in a century. not to mention the mass extinction.
in my opinion, the term "climate change" does a poor job of describing the actual problem at hand. "climate crisis" is more accurate
I am putting a thumb down on this video not because the idea is not good but because the practice is proving wrong . Unless we are talking about Pine forest this system doesn’t work because nature is varied like your body is varied . These company is imposing an unnatural ecosystem that is not found in nature . Forestry and fauna should go hand in hand . Plants cannot survive whiteout the animals around them . Monoculture forests are dead forest no birds no animals can live in them . Threes of the same age snd the same species are artificial . It doesn’t work . If they want to truly improve the environment they have to copy nature map. If you destroy something you have to replace it exactly as it was or at least as close as you can possibly can
