I swear, just about the only entertaining thing about modern wrestling games is how glitchy and unstable they are.
Even tho this game is ass newLEGACYinc are the only ones who can make this game entertaining and funny as hell

This game was such a disaster, and I bet 2022 will be as well, just for different reasons.
Like THE SMALLEST THING BEING THE ROSTER. But What Really Matters Is That THE GAMEPLAY IS GOOD And No Jarmful Glitches that crash the game.

Still the wrestling fans who have low standards throw their whole wallets at every 2K release so 2K can just get away with yearly low effort cashcows and close the servers after barely a year.

How the hell do you get HAPPYBDAYHO?
How did 2k20 turn out so bad, when 2k22 is actually really good. I mean, don't get me wrong, there's stuff I don't like about 2k22 too, it's not perfect. I especially hate how 2k keep throwing in special attires and alternate versions of wrestlers in MyRise and MyFaction, but don't make them playable in the main game. Luckily most of them can be downloaded through custom stuff (though annoyingly, HHH and Rock can't be anymore).
Aside from that, MyFaction is a bit grindy. I'm already getting tired of using the few cards I have, but it takes fucking ages to get enough to buy a pack, and the cheaper packs usually have garbage in them. And since there's no marketplace like NFL and NBA 2k have, you can't even buy a few cheaper decent cards to make it more interesting. I expect the card-based modes to be grindy, but they don't need to be THAT grindy.
I also absolutely despise tag team matches. I can handle 2v2, but anything more than that becomes an absolute chore. You literally CAN'T pin someone without taking out the other people on the apron, because they, literally...ALWAYS, break up the pin. There's no option for them to miss the break up, and your own team doesn't run in and stop it fast enough. So the match always turns into trying to make the dude tap out quick enough so no one breaks it up, or having to knock 2 or more people off the apron and pin the guy in the ring before they get up. Tag matches just suck to play. And in MyFaction, tag matches are all over the place. So you don't really have the choice to NOT play them.
But despite those issues, the game itself is still pretty damn fun. Admittedly, I haven't played every 2k game. I kinda stopped with WWE games when the PS2-era ended, and only picked it back up with 2k16, followed by a stint of 2k19 when it was free-to-play for a week on Xbox. So I don't have much to compare it to. But compared to 2k16 and 19, I'm quite enjoying 22.
