Hello Jason I think your next adventure is Eritrea, Libya or Mauritania? ALGERIA IS BEAUTIFUL. I visited 2018 and its my favourite country of all time. Rule number one in the sahara is water water water. I plan on returning to Algeria Inshallah. Safe travels. Peace
Quite an adventure and I think your Algerian young hosts felt miserable for causing you this "trauma" and I can imagine how often they apologized hhhh.....Timimoun has taken my heart and soul..I spend my winter holidays there and can't get enough of it...I love the scenery, the sunsets, the people, the simplicity..
Yes it's true Jason, South Algeria people are very friendly, you are welcome anytime in my country again, and we are very sorry about the bad situation you faced with the Police in Constantine 🙏 like you know Algeria is not a touristic country like Tunisia and Morocco, it's complicated, i hope you accept my apologies for what happened again, Thank you so much for your amazing videos 🇩🇿👍
Jason thank you for your video! :) Amazing story! :) It is wonderful how people are so helpful --- in Algeria and around the world! :) Great video Jason! :) Thank you! :)
What an engaging experience, told with clarity and calm, and thanks for showing us so respectfully places most viewers don't even imagine they exist. Fascinating!
So glad you are safe. Something I've always been mindful of but your videos really bring it home is to trust the knowledge base of the locals. I also know I've been in situations where a total stranger has been my best asset in a time of need. To paraphrase Tennessee Williams , we all rely on the kindness of strangers from time to time. Loved watching the kids hiding from you in that strange space kids have of being curious yet shy all at the same time. DELIGHTFUL!!!
Thanks for sharing It is the desert of our land, despite the dryness of the land People's hearts are generous Glad you came out of the experience well Yes, getting lost in the desert is very possible, even if you are one of its inhabitants, but it is beautiful despite the difficulties We wish you good health and happiness
Hi Jason, thanks for sharing that story. I really love your channel. You approach your travels and the people you meet with such respect and humility. Would love to hear more stories from Algeria. Hi, your story is amazing. What touches me most is your gratitude towards the man who gave help beyond what was asked. Travelling is not ony to see different things, places, and collect a few souvenirs but the true essence of travel is the people. Seeing the many different beautiful human beings on our planet. We dignify our humanity when we acknowledge and reciprocate the beauty we find in others. You showed this. Thank you👈👈👈 Take Care
Thanks so much for sharing! We enjoyed hearing about your adventure there. It is a great idea of yours to share other detail experiences doing your down or slow times. When we review one of your post, we live in the moment of time you're sharing, but when you tell a story we live in the minutes of your experience and that carries for more details than you can cover in a single post. I really enjoyed hearing your close calls and scary moments. It's almost movie worthy. :) We're glad you made it out of that situation. Thanks again for carrying us all the places that will likely never go. Your USA friend. I rented an apartment next year in London. Maybe we will get a chance to meet sometime. :)
Welcome to the city of Tizi Ouzou in Algeria. It is the Amazigh region. I think you will find a new civilization. If you come to her, tell me so that we can meet.❤🇩🇿
Wonderful scenery, wonderful people and wonderful hosts. I have watched all of your Algerian videos, one after the other. Some of the camerawork was making me dizzy it was so high, but I had to keep watching as it was such a fantastic opportunity to see Algeria. Too bad about the experience at the end but at least it was resolved. Thank you Jason and friends.
I could never and I can't even watch this. One of my fears is running out of water. I constantly drink water throughout the day and I carry water with me everywhere I go.

This is a fascinating part of the world. I would be interested to see you meet the Taureg peoples. An amazing and ancient culture that still inhabit those lands.
I can definitely say that you are the first foreigner who made a challenge and dares to go deeper in the desert because it is very dangerous but worth trying. Concerning your experience I think hard times really teach us good lessons ..taugh but fruitful experience
