Hey Richard as a working news street documentary photographer who still dabbles with film I have to say individually your selection is very good but viewed as a collection they’re awesome I love heavy contract in my own work and yours are amazing. Liked and subbed mate keep em coming cheers
@@RichardSilvius hey mate no thanks needed you shot some cracking photography with amazing characters I shoot so much but due to space or lack thereof I don’t print much out I put plenty on here but looking at your prints has got me thinking about printing more 📷
@@RichardSilvius haha digital nomad love it I guess that’s me too then a 7m van a laptop and a load of cameras stashed in the papers cupboard happy daze 📷
I don’t mind! I didn’t mention it because I want to avoid giving anyone the idea that they need a certain camera. You don’t need any specific camera to take pictures that look like this. This camera was a dime a dozen in its time and every brand had a version of something similar. That said, it’s a Yashica Electro 35CC.
@@RichardSilvius Thank you so much for the reply. I agree with you not wanting to mention it because it then becomes the focus of the video and not the pictures but I appreciate you letting me know what camera was used. I'm always looking for small cameras and I haven't been too happy with some that I own like the Olympus XA2 or the Olympus AF-1 Twin. This was a great video and I can't wait to see what else you produce.
I like what you have done but there is so much click bait out there that distorts the truth of the event, your click bait totally takes away from your otherwise good presentation. I think many are beginning to react to these distortions and misrepresentations on the net. I have unfollowed some I liked because of their click bait presentions
Thanks Rick! I’m new at this and to be honest just playing around, having fun with it and experimenting. This kind of feedback is going to be crucial for me to figure out what’s working and what’s not. I hope you’ll sub and stick around, because if you liked the presentation I think you will enjoy the stuff I have planned.
Your title is misleading and besides your photos - which are good - you offer no value to anyone coming to learn something based on your video title. I could have done without watching someone’s travel slideshow
These were great! The moments you've captured really tell some amazing stories.
Thank you so much Caleb!
Such an amazing hit rate, 12 final photos from a 36 exposure roll! I usually get only around 5 per roll
Haha yeah that is NOT the norm. I think ordinarily I’d be lucky to get 5!

Hi Paul! Coming from someone with those credentials that really means a lot. Thank you so much!

@@paultaylorphotography9499 I feel your pain. As a digital nomad with no permanent residence I’m also not able to print as much as I’d like.

I hope you don't mind me asking what camera you used? I really liked the look of your pictures. They look so good! thanks.

Muchísimas gracias Sonia!!!
Where/How did you get the negatives printed like that? Is it an original enlargement from the negatives or did you print the scans?
The lab that did the development scanned the negatives for me and also did the prints. So the prints shown here are from their scans.

Thanks Andrew. Help me out - I'm curious if you watched the full video, or if not, at what point you stopped watching.
