@@abhirupmukherjee1996 no,my friend is- honest, highly intelligent totally unmatched in any of the dccbs.enormously talented.i have seen him ,how he is treated by consecutive scroundel, inefficient,nonsense,ias failed ceos and pained by that .these dccbs....are strange institutions.120-140 staffs,but 50 % grade A officer scale,30 % grade Bofficer scale ...the rest are clerks and substaffs.4 assistant gms,3 dgms,...how funny.. waiting for the day,when my friend will say ,his dccb has several executive directors (EDs),ED(fd),ED((rd),ED(CC LOAN) etc.😅😅😅..how funny and ridiculous...by the way ,my friend ,who is an IIT Kharagpur rusticated alumnus,is still a clerk,instead of being the overall chief of the bank.we have asked him to kick the chairman's and Ceo's ""bitchi"",and come out ..the rest we will see.he hasn't done yet. Thanks for your querry.and if you are a a dccb staff and age on your side,do leave it,of course,if there are options.you will be better off without being under the control of a chief inefficient officer( cieo).

I thought other direct recruited officer scales staffs other than ceos have enough banking knowledge as it required experience to get in. But, do you think clerks in dccbs should be promoted to the highest posts rather direct recruits? (Im not any dccb/wbcos person)
@abhirupmukherjee1996 there are no direct recruitment ceos.all CEO s are recruited from that exam,where any graduate can appear.now that graduate becomes a knowledgeable person in banking business,I can't comprehend that how this point came to your mind even though you are not what you said in last sentence.A bank chief is a specialist person,not a generalist person.IAS,and WBCS,though difference is heaven and hell( I don't know the English of patal)are generalist service.thats why sbi,lic,BHEL,NTPC,ONGC,etc have IIT graduates or at the least highly efficient and proven NIT graduates or jadabpur or BITS pilani etc.graduates,not an IAS officer.Only RBI has few 2-3 governors from IAS ,Indian Economic Service officer( like Manmohan Singh,a highly acclaimed economist himself),the rest were all IIT,IIM grads.even the present one,Sanjay Agarwal,though an IAS is an IIT graduate,then MS Princeton, USA.Private banks,ICICI,HDFC etc all have at least IIM or world's top business school trained finance grads as CEOs,not any joker because banking is a serious business Secondly,why should clerks be promoted to CEO,if staffs don't have that qualification in finance,why?and if they acquire that expertise with time and experience,why not? Probably clerks recruitment in DCCB s are also done by some shabby process in West bengal.in other states,probably not.in fact,Steel cooperative Bank in durgapur,one of the most profitable and highly technology driven cooperative Bank has a financial expert as CEO.it has few highly skilled software engineers.and the result is there for all to see.the problem is, which highly skilled grad will come to become the CEO of a DCCB of west bengal,with wb govt scale.even IAS scale is peanuts to them. Even a teenager of this generation with dreams in eyes will also laugh at the proposition.The wrong doesn't lie with wbcs ,it lies with the system.It starts with the fact that ,the wbcs( precisely every state cadre in every state) officers are so much ridiculed and often humiliated before everyone without reason or reason,by direct recruitment young IAS ,IPS officers,these state officers lose their self esteem,only to be become vengeful when they get chance to become a boss themself anywhere.and the best place is DCCB.
