Gosh Beth, there’s hardly any difference in these colours! Both are lovely. I’ve avoided this wig because of cost but also I never liked the stock pic of it. I remember a woman buying it 3+ years ago and it was a disaster on her, we were all new to wigs and had no idea what would suit us or how to style them. She was so upset, I hope she still has it and will see your video. Love the updo as well 💕
I know, they are really similar in this piece but BT is just a bit more of ash tone. I prefer Honey on myself but I still love BT. I know for new wig wearers, they're sometimes afraid to mess with a wig but actually that's what we need to do sometimes to activate the fibers and "wake up" the wig after it's been sitting in a box! This is a great wig for updo's, I love the curly tendrils, so pretty! 💗💗💗

I'm old 😞 I don't have any wig caps, so I used the stocking-like thingy that was in the box. Not good. The wig rode up my head until it almost popped off. Plus it's somewhat itchy around the face. Will have to start ordering different caps to try. I'm a rooky 😅

Two questions: After you thorougly played with her using the brush and fingers plus wax spraying how long does the volume stay on top of the head and upper-sides ? Since I don't want to wash wigs more often, I'm not using the spray wax. How long do you guess the volume would remain like my first question but this time withoutusing the spray wax ? Thanks !
Hi Marina, for regular cap wigs either permatease the volume stays without products. This one has no permatease as it’s a hand tied wig, which is beautiful and natural, and the style will stay in place but for extra volume I do find the wig wax spray is needed. I usually spray in the morning before work and that’s it. 💛🤗👍
I love this updo and the ease of it for you to do. Now I’m gonna have to get me a thin sparkly headband 🤣 Love how you put tendrils OVER the headband and secured them! Do your updos ever fall out when you’re out and about? Do you ever have to like go secure them?? Sheer Drama suits you so well in both colors, you look wonderful!! 🔥

I do them pretty quickly in the video when I'm filming but if I'm really doing it up to wear out, I take a little more time and make sure everything is secured. Usually claw clips do the trick, but sometimes I will add a few bobbypins. 💛😊👍

Oh my gosh, really?!! If you didn't return it, I would give it a really good spritz with water and dig in with your fingers at the permatease. Then hang it upside down overnight. that should really help with the volume. I keep the wigs I wear hung upside down in hooks in my bathroom so they're ready to go each day. Hi Laura, so sorry to hear about your struggles. What products did you use on your bio hair, if I may ask? You can use regular products on synthetic wigs; however, just note that it may cause buildup so you will have to wash your wigs a little more frequently. I tend to use little claw clips to keep the hair out of my face if one is really bugging me. I also keep clips in my purse as many times I'll start my workday with it down and then pull it back as the day goes on. 💛😊👍
I haven’t been able to use product in my bio hair for years and now don’t have much this wigs ! most is scented which I just can’t do. I love your styling and updo videos. Very helpful

You’re welcome! It’s really pretty and it’s not full on top as there’s no permatease but it’s a pretty full bob on the bottom. I think if you like a sleeker look you could probably take a razor and thin in a bit so there’s more layers at the bottom. That would make it less full. Sheer Passion is beautiful but again a lot of hair at the bottom. It’s somewhat of an inverted cut so it’s just slightly shorter at the back than the front. I love the way it looks. Looks way more doable on you than the picture that does look as if it has bangs which surprised me as you can turn the part anyway I'd think it would be longer "bangs" and the up do is :OMG adorable So my question is the Leading Lady (original not long) compares how to the adorable one you are wearing the new Hanson. I really, really want to buy the Hanson but am afraid it's too short. Note I had a small neck so often wigs I think would be above my shoulders are closer to my shoulders. I didn't like the Long Leading Lady, tempted to cut the length it isn't that much like the Leading Lady original which is awesome. Probably will buy one tomorrow so if you have any thoughts on the Hanson vs Leading Lady please share.... thanks. Respect your thoughts. And I like the way the Buttered Toast looks on you!

Also, all this time I thought hand tied meant no volume whatsoever. But on these, it sure looks like some volume and it looks good!! So had I heard wrong? Hand tied does have volume??
Hi Gina, hand tied means the fibers are manually hand tied into the lace cap. Therefore, there is NO permatease which does create volume. However, depending on the style and the density of the hair you can get volume from hand-tied. I do find the straight hand-tied not so much, but on the curly or wavy hand-tied the style itself is just voluminous. 🥰
I'm happy to show the wigs, I personally find it so helpful when I'm interested in purchasing a wig to see if there are any reviews on it. They typically look quite different in person. Thank you! 💛😊👍
I have been looking at this for years. For a while I was wearing Deirdre but found the heat friendly fibers a challenge althpugh I love the way they look. I am only disappointed that this does not seem really layered at all. With that volume and length of hair, a few discreet layers would be helpful to the shape. The stock photo really does look so different. Thank you for the review.
Hi Libby! I think it's a great style and I do have a razor so I may add a few layers to it so it's not so thick at the bottom. I think it would be pretty easy to do so, and if I do, I'll be sure to film that process. 💛😊👍

Hi dear, it should be noted that the stock photo of Sheer Drama that you see online, here and in the catalog was taken years ago at a professional photoshoot. I do believe the style was altered a bit for the photoshoot to include some fine razor cut in bangs. What I am showing you in this video is how the wig actually comes and looks right out the box. To achieve the model image, you will need to customize your wig.

Also, all this time I thought hand tied meant no volume whatsoever. But on these, it sure looks like some volume and it looks good!! So had I heard wrong? Hand tied does have volume??
Hi Gina, hand tied means the fibers are manually hand tied into the lace cap. Therefore, there is NO permatease which does create volume. However, depending on the style and the density of the hair you can get volume from hand-tied. I do find the straight hand-tied not so much, but on the curly or wavy hand-tied the style itself is just voluminous. 🥰

I have been looking at this for years. For a while I was wearing Deirdre but found the heat friendly fibers a challenge althpugh I love the way they look. I am only disappointed that this does not seem really layered at all. With that volume and length of hair, a few discreet layers would be helpful to the shape. The stock photo really does look so different. Thank you for the review.
Hi Libby! I think it's a great style and I do have a razor so I may add a few layers to it so it's not so thick at the bottom. I think it would be pretty easy to do so, and if I do, I'll be sure to film that process. 💛😊👍

Hi dear, it should be noted that the stock photo of Sheer Drama that you see online, here and in the catalog was taken years ago at a professional photoshoot. I do believe the style was altered a bit for the photoshoot to include some fine razor cut in bangs. What I am showing you in this video is how the wig actually comes and looks right out the box.
