Can't believe I missed this. I was there for the spitfire over DL2013 but this is too awesome! Hopefully by the next time I see them they'll be reenacting the entire Battle of Britain!
I was there (at the 1"10' point you can see the back of my head!) and it was brilliant; perfect weather, perfect music and the last post at the end was very moving.
This was just amazing to see live and I wish I could go back and see it all over again. I was also surprised to see myself in crowd on the video too :)

What an incredibly accomplished individual Bruce is. His boundless energy and enthusiasm are inspirations to me. I have a total man-crush on the guy. Just wish he wouldn't run his mouth quite so much. :)

Aces High is about a battle that took place during WW2; this flight display is a reenactment of WW1 dogfight maneuvers (along with the planes themselves), and Paschendale is a song about a battle in WW1, so they went with that one. I prefer Paschendale to Aces High anyway. I rose my voice and sang to the lyrics at Sonisphere when the intro started up. Was a fuckin' GREAT experience.
