  • "The Tammy Peterson Podcast" delves into issues such as faith through a counter-cultural lens. Behind the podcast stands a 62-year-old cancer survivor and wife of Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson, who has just begun the journey to become a member of the Catholic Church.
Tammy and I spoke about this journey, beginning with her upbringing in Canada, before looking at the Peterson's love story, some struggles the family have faced, the blessings they have received in marriage and as parents, a modern miracle, femininity vs feminism, the role of the body in the Christian way, a new life of prayer, and more.

Mr. and Mrs. Peterson's story is inspiring. I very much enjoy listening to both of them. Praise God for Mrs. Peterson's faith and the way she shares it.

    You're a lovely dude, dude
Just hearing your demeanour puts a loving smile on my face
    p.s
That's definitely not a monster behind Tammy, walking past, kept out
That there's a gentle soft light on and around Tammy is so fitting

Not sure if Mrs. Peterson is going to see this but would like to share nonetheless :
I, like many people in their 20's have been heavily influenced by her husband. I was introduced to him by my younger brother when I was a hippie-leftie-muslim-feminist (one crasy combination if I may add).
He helped me fix my of my confusions and my perceptions on life, men and women.
Then at some point, I couldn't help but wonder about his wife whom he talks so lovingly about. I wanted to know what kind of woman can be loved so dearly by an upright man.
It was at that time when she posted an update video with Mikhaila about her condition and she mentioned praying the Rosary and her meditation routine (talk to God then listen). So, me, who was slowly breaking away from Islam but still thought being a Muslim is my identity, started praying the Rosary because (out of pure divine guidance in my opinion) thought that it was the only way for me to fix my relating problems with women and my problem of not being able to sustain female friendships.
I prayed the Rosary only for 1 week then gave up thinking it is silly of me to do that since I'm not even Christian.
About 4 months later, I had a religious encounter with Christ that completely changed my life. I guess the Theotokos did respond and stepped in for the sinner that I am. And for which I'm forever grateful, first to our Lord, then to His Most Holy Mother and finally to Mrs. Peterson. I received so much live.

Wonderful interview, I really enjoy listening to Tammy Peterson and her testimony. She emphasized the importance of listening and attending to people which is so valuable in healing and in developing healthy relationships on every level. For those interested in the origin of the Feminist movement, another recommend reading is "The End of Woman: How Smashing the Patriarchy Has Destroyed Us" by the Roman Catholic writer Dr. Carrie Gress. I was quite shocked at much of her research, but it was illuminating.

Fantastic interview, you're great at listening. I would appreciate a literature list, since you added an insane amount of references there in screen.
