I am agreeing with a lot of people here...Bad company "Shooting Star" one of their best songs without a doubt! I also like their song "Bad Company". Another one on my list of bands that I've seen in Concert (got in trouble for this one because my buddy "borrowed" his dad's car and we drove over 500 miles just to go to the concert).

@@Spo-Dee-O-Dee I disagree that Paul Rodgers is "better than Freddie." As a matter of fact very few singers can be compared to Freddie Mercury, he was in a class all of his own. Freddy could sing anything that Paul Rodgers did but Paul Rodgers could not sing everything Freddie did. I don't know, I saw the firm back in the '80s with Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers and I definitely didn't compare him to Robert Plant. As a matter of fact it never entered my mind. I don't think Robert Plant was necessarily "better, " they are just different.

Paul Rodgers is the perfect male rock vocalist, IMHO. He can go hard and edgy, or smooth and sweet, but it's ALWAYS like warm honey to my ears....SENSUAL.
He's an interesting guy, btw- very self-disciplined. Into martial arts, amongst other things.

When I was young and a Bad Company song came onto the radio I would turn the channel. Now that I'm older I finally realized that for a band I didn't care for sure had a lot of good songs.

I really think you'd enjoy the title track song of the group BAD CO. which is
Actually "Bad Company", and another favorite "Juke Box Hero".

I actually heard this on the radio today and thought I should suggest it to you - guess I don't have to now! Instead I will repeat my request for Marc Cohn's 'Walking in Memphis.'

I am a 70 year old man who has listened to every kind of music. I get quite a lot of pleasure watching both of you respond to music I loved. I find both of you very refreshing. I grew up in the 50s and 60s. Will you kindly give these a try: for Jay , Alice Cooper, “ School’s Out” . For hippie acid type music, The Chamber’s Brothers, “ Time” long version. For Amber here are 2 folk rock giants. From the 50s, The Kingston Trio, “Tom Dooley”. From the 60s The Seekers, “I will never find another you”..Judith Durham it has been suggested by many has the greatest voice of all time. Give them all a try. Enjoy!
