The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah is a stark warning of the consequences of sin and depravity. However, the story of Lot also reminds us that God is always ready to save those who trust and obey Him. To everyone reading this, I pray that God will give our brothers and sisters the wisdom to distinguish between good and evil, the strength to resist temptation, the courage to live a holy life, and above all, the unwavering faith to always rely on His love and guidance. May God help us to be watchful and prayerful, so that we will not fall into the trap of sin and will always live in a way that pleases Him.

The Bible tells us the truth of these people, so that we can learn from their experiences. It showed that they are humans and imperfect, just like us. God's grace covers our sins when we confess and turn away from our sinful ways. God has been merciful to us, in spite of our wrong doings. His grace is enough for His power is made perfect in our weakness. All glory to God! We love you Jesus

Well, this was done before the 10 commandments were written, so it wasn't marked as a sin yet. And the Lord knew long before Lot was born that this act would give us Moab, founder of the Moabites. Which would give us Ruth the great grandmother of King David. All a part of Christ's direct line. So, while it may have been wicked. God used it for his own plans.

They came from a city that was ruled by principalities and powers of darkness which did not leave them alone. They could have run, but they could not hide. They run away with the effects of their culture. They may not have been the worst but they did not have sufficient sensitivity to be disgusted by what they were about to do. It is not the trauma but the spirits that they run away with from the cities they run from. Think about it, where did their children find women to marry to continue the tribes of Moab and Ammon? They certainly did not revert to incest too!!
But this only shows us that ' you gain your life only to lose if.' because in the end days, a time comes when ' those who will ' gain their lives will lose them and only those who lose it like Lots wife, actually,' preserve ' it. That's why the salt - the pillar of salt. Jesus Christ repeats this story for us when He is teaching us about that moment in the end times. He told us to remember Lot's wife! And not Lot or his daughters. Because Lot and daughters gained their lives only to lose them, while Lot's life lost it, only to preserve it. Because ' salt is good.

I heard that "Lot, the grandson of Abraham" at the beginning of the video, too, and shook my head and there are a few glaringly wrong things the AI says in some of the videos and I used to go in on whomever is behind the videos because those mistakes should not be uttered if the channel is serious about spreading the Word of God instead of getting clicks and engagement. The "grandson" statement was for comments. It's not right especially since it's a good channel and shouldn't resort to RUclips thirst trap tactics. We have to remember that no matter the good content overall we are dealing with people that DO NOT have consistent Faith and so those tricks are resorted to instead of them being TRUTHFUL and BELIEVING God that the Blessings will come according to His Will.

    • @sammiejaeyoung1316

@@strawberry48535it's not a problem. I like the channel but those untrue statements be intentional for comments I think. The AI does that on some videos and I believe it's because we are dealing with people, behind the channel, having that inconsistent Faith to believe God WILL BLESS them and the channel in His time and pace OR they want more and want it when they want it. It's a problem with many of us in Christ's Kingdom. I just shake my head at those tactics and pray for Patience. Thanks for being positive. Be Blessed

What Bible are you reading because you are clearly wrong. According to scripture, Noah had some wine, got drunk and fell asleep naked and was found by one of his sons, who told his brothers and they went in and covered him. It can happen to anyone of us. Because we are not perfect, we make wrong choices sometimes.

I'm not buying any of those excuses. What lot's daughter did was straight up wicked. They placed CULTURE above God's law. Even small children know that incest is forbidden.

God did not allow anything like that to happen, read it again, it his daughter's plan exclusively GOD didn't speak and instructed them to.

I believed God didn't allowed Lot to have children from his daughters. Lot daughters bear their father's children. They got their father drunk with wine that very night. The older daughter went and lay with him. He was obvious, knowing nothing of what she did. Read Genesis 19:30-38.kjv. the reason Lit daughters believing that there were no left alive, (Sodom and Gomorha) and the two chaste daughters conspired to get their father drunk with wine and each conceive a child by the father in order to continue the family line. But God condemned them.

Wasn’t death appointed to Adam and Eve for their disobedience? Interesting that they cast their “lots” at Jesus’ Christ/cross.

I could only listen to 7 minutes of this video as the author's interpretation is wrong. They went to Zoar first but took refuge in the caves, so they knew they were not the last people alive. From the Bible, we understand that Lot and his family ran from town in the middle of the night. They lost everything and were homeless. They would not be able to afford to stay in Zoar, hence moving to the caves.
Both daughters were betrothed. But since Lot is now poor, he will not be able to marry his daughters off. In those days, a woman without a man or a child was considered cursed, so since the daughters believed they could not marry, they came up with the idea of getting pregnant with their father.

Too much repetition of parts of story. Narrative goes in monotonous circles. Please do something to construct straight forward story WITHOUT REPETITIONS. Thank you nonetheless.

Why HE let Satan to live on? Why HE put tree of knowledge of good and evil in the middle of garden right next to tree of life? Why HE who prohibited adultery allowed Solomon to have 1000 wives? Why HE let sins to create the Death? The more man of dust try to explain HIS wonderful works, the deeper man of dust will fall into doubts that lead destruction. Good servant never ask Almighty Master a doubtful questions. SIMPLE ANSWER TO THESE QUESTIONS IS "WE DON'T KNOW."

We do know, God gives us free will, it's up to every individual what they do with that free will. The question is why did God allow sin in the world? If he didn't none of us would be here.

So, Lot and his daughters are some sick puppies but they were forgivable but the offspring who did not ask to be born were damned. I guess bastards would fall into that category too. There's a Lot of those.....
