Dala dala rides are quite the experience...over crowded bus rides, I never got used to that at all. When I was there I used to prefer BRT (mwendo kasi) not because they were not overcrowded but because I used to take a shorter time travelling in them because they are given right of way. Transport issues aside, Dar is a vibe, I really liked the place and I will for sure keep going back whenever I get the chance...I am Kenyan
Nice vlog Kaja but you should have introduced your friend as well. I have a house near Bagamoyo and another near completion in Kigamboni so your experience was very interesting for me. Where do you come from? Next time you visit Bagamoyo I would recommend that you go to the Lazy Lagoon. You have to take a boat to get there but definitely worth a visit to "Miami Beach".
Hi if you don't mind can I ask a question ? What should be the minimum level of English for someone who will travel alone? I want to go on a world tour, but I can't trust myself.
Did you have stomach/diarrhea problem during your time in Tanzania? And how did you deal with it, strategy to prevent it, etc.? I will be there soon and need your advice. Thanks.
Not for the poor, for the tough guys and adventurous. Don't worry to experience. Are you rich? Sleeping in the sky or in a floating Luxury hotel? Tough guys sleep in peace😅 yah!
What I love about traveling using Daladala
Is that people are always kind, you can talk to any one inside Daladala
The doggy laying rolling over is so chillllll!
I know such a cutie!
Thanks Kaja for showing us Tanzania. As we say in Ireland, " fair play to you". 😂👍😊🇮🇪🇹🇿

Thank you Kaja for consistently showing us the reality of traveling without all the glamour and glitz. Cheers 🥂
Dala dala has a lots of windows! What you talking about no windows?
I’ve gotten so used to having a time schedule and expecting others to follow it; taking a Dala dala will definitely piss me off. 😂
Yes it can be a bit frustrating ;)

If you want to travel comfortably you will have to pay more to private tour companies. Daladala transportation is for the poor.
