Excellent lesson! Thank you so much for explaining this so well. Many times I have done a terrible job of trying to explain this to my friends. But I think it's important that we clarify to people that, even though "gonna" and "wanna" is common in spoken English, it usually does not look very good in writing. We don't want use "gonna" or "wanna" in a business letter or resume or any correspondence in which we want to make a good impression. Gives the impression of perhaps not having a good handle on the language. (I only say this because I hire people and have received resumes and cover letters like this. It's fine for texting or social media if you really want to write "gonna," although I advise my friends not to get into the habit of writing it anywhere.) I understand your channel is about pronunciation and spoken English and it's a great channel. I just wanted to write a little footnote for people to understand that what's normal for spoken English is often not appropriate in written form. This is only positive, constructive advice.....I have great respect for people learning the language!

After I'm done with this lesson I'm gonna go eat breakfast and come then I'll take a shower. After that i will continue watching more of your lessons. I'm not gonna call anybody today because I have a lot of work to do at the moment. On Sunday I'm planning to go church. This weekend I'm not gonna go to the library. I have no idea, I hope it would be a nice weather. I think my week is gonna be busy, because I have a lot to do. At breakfast I have no idea what they gonna serve us. I live in the Shelter, so that why. But for dinner I think I'm gonna go out and eat noodles with avocado. It's my favorite. I'm trying to lose weight so I skip one meal and I try to eat healthy. I would wanna be a lawyer. I definitely not wanna be a mechanic. There are two places actually that are in my bucket list, Israel and France. To be honest I love all countries and I enjoyed traveling, so I want to travel to every country one day. I wanna read the book self-help. I wanna to communicate fluently. And I want to become a human rights lawyer. That is my goal in life.

Further contraction of "I'm gonna" is possible - "m'gonna" and simply "muna" /'mʌnə/. Never stop! Enough is not enough! 😊
