V1 seems a lil bit warmer, with a larger bass registry while v2 seems brighter, it really depends on what you're looking for. V2 has some strong adavantages such as small footprint, topmount jacks, center negative polarity, 9v operativity... If I hadn't already had a v1 maybe I would have bought a V2 (the one in the video was lended to me by a friend). V2 with NOS chips are great pedals.
