I don't get why you dropped that center. Just because he started out as a 86 and ended as a 79 doesn't make him a bust. 79 is very good. I've done 12 Seasons so far in NCAA 13 and the top center usually hovers around 79-80
Biggest recruiting bug was the ‘compare’ disparity when you are an A+ and other recruiting team is a D-. You get no recruiting points/decrease in other team’s points. Really sucks
As time goes by, players narrow their interests down (Top 10, Top 8, Top 5, Top 3, Commit) If your ranking falls outside of that, there is a good chance they won't sign with you.
i know, i was more worried about the amount of players i was bringing in because i constantly had to cut double digit amounts of players from my team each offseason.
You will have some great recruits that right away have double their interest in you for any other school before the season begins. Again that’s where the flexibility of 10-15 players comes in. The more you have that are very interested in to start the more you can recruit. If you find yourself needing a lot of players DON’T worry about it. If you need say 2 OLB don’t worry about recruiting 5 of them. Go after 3 and make sure you get your top 2.
An 8 year old video about a game I ordered from Amazon for $117.00 today. I really love how you can go through your prospects, scout them, and look at their attributes. That's what made me buy this game for my PlayStation 3.
@@eastondebolt5569im sure u figured it out by now but u will need a USB and you download the rosters from the internet onto the USB then connect the USB to your playstation and you should be able to import those rosters over
my tactics are first to limit the number of recruits to 15 max that way i can scout all of them if you have more than 15 you will run out of recruiting minutes, i like to get to 100% scouting that's when the gems will show up or bust if at 60% I don't like their attributes i dump them and move on to the next recruit in the same position of need. second if i play with a 3 star school for example i don't waste my time trying to go after someone who's interested in a school like Oklahoma or Alabama because i will not be able to offer them anything they can't with the exception of playing time and most of the time is not enough so i try to compete with the same level or lower, also i look for players who have only one or two schools that they are interested on to limit the competition for their services and third unless i really like and need someone i try not to offer too much because if you don't fulfill your promises they can and will transfer at the end of the season so unless you're sure they will start or at least they will be the back up with playing time they will leave your school so be careful and last make sure you draft first for needs then for whoever you like, the last thing you wanna do is not fill a position of need by trying to get that special player that you may not immediately need once you have the commitments the you need then you can try to get lucky and remember at the end of the season you still get a chance to recruit more player so don't think that if you didn't get most of your recruits you're done in my last season in the off-season i manage to scoop up ten players and fill up all my needs in the end.
You have to go into the recruiting window, but as soon as you go on your recruiting board it pops up a list of players that are visiting. It also has a nice little cross icon next to the corresponding players.
Im in my UTSA dynasty, Heisman difficulty , and all american recruiting, I have won my conference ( WAC ) in my first 2 years, ( I was offensive cordinator , just got offered the Head coach job that I just took ), 9-4 second year 8-5 first year, 1 bowl win , 1 bowl loss. MY BIGGEST TIP for you is.. Get as many juco's as possible and recruit freshmen in those juco's position so that while the Juco's start, the freshmen are being redshirted and progressing
Once you start getting players to commit and others commit to other schools you can start adding the recruits that are slower to narrow down their top 5 that still have interest in you. The best rule of thumb is to keep it at a max of 10 players once 2-4 have committed. After a certain point you can stop adding players and focus on say 3-4 the rest of the regular season (kind of a thing you develop once you’d played a lot so I can’t give a certain week to stop)
The reason you only want to go after this 10-15 range is because you will get nowhere fast by only spending 10-20 minutes per player every week if you have say 25+ guys on your board. It is best to focus at least 40 minutes if not 50 or 60 (especially 60 on the 5 star players who everyone is competing for) so that you can remain in the running for that player. If you are heavily in the lead for a recruit you can lower it to 20 minutes and spread that around if you have more than 10 players.
Im on varsity using north carolina in my first season we had the number 20 class in the nation and we ranked 15 in the second season we got 10 class in the nation and were on track of National championship than lost to Michigan State. Im in the third season with the third class in the nation and were ranked 15 in the nation
If you recruit more than 15 (say 20) recruits at the start you will only end up with about 5-6 of those. If you keep it around 10-12 though you should get around 9-10 of them (this is assuming you are targeting players who have an interest in you to begin with). If you find a player you need that has you ranked #6 and 400 points behind the leader and they are a powerhouse just move on and take it on the chin. It happens.
should i up my recruiting difficulty? im on pro, my school is Miami(FL) and my first class was ranked 7th went 13-1 and won the orange bowl against auburn, my second class was ranked 1st in the nation and we went 9-4 winning some pointless bowl game against wyoming, and my 3rd class is on track to be in the top 5 aswell and i am currently 10-0 and ranked #2 in the nation and if nothing goes wrong ill be playing oregon in the nation title game. im also on pace to 74 recruits in 3 years.
some student athletes appreciate the redshirt as it allows them to get adjusted to the college game and the classes and the great thing if you are on scholarship as a redshirt you get paid for the classes but it isn't for everyone but it is definitely a good option for some
I have an insane dynasty with Louisville i'm in my 4th year and won 3 national titles cause I have an insane custom playbook and always win extremely close. Th key is recruit guys who fit your system, strike a perfect balance between the run and pass, make sure your qb can run, recruit for the o-line early, run a 4-2-5 on d with a solid pass rush and decent db's and to get yourself ranked higher earlier schedule tough non-conference games
Recruiting is somewhat more realistic this year ,but mad easy in some situations. You can have a 3 star school and recruit a 5 star player that's only interested in 1school and you'll jump to 2nd most intrest on a student that's way more talented than your school. Of coarse it may not work out because thell have high demands but I've gotten a few steals like that in my Baylor dynasty.
The best strategy is only recruit around 10-12 players and at most 15 players (40 minutes each) at least at the start of a new season. Also turn off all CPU assistance as it will fill your recruiting board, offer scholarships to 1-2 start players, and also schedule visits late in the season which hurts because most players commit before the last 2 games.
Hi new to college football here idk if anybody’s gonna see this but what’s the point of red shirting a player? Is that equivalent to puttin an nfl guy on the practice squad?
So when you redshirt someone they’re typically a freshman. It just means you’re going to “bench” the player for the whole year. In this year they’re redshirted, they will get rating boosts still but will technically be a freshman the next year and still have 4 years eligibility left. So 5 years in college total.
i play with lsu,, i kno they're a good team but i feel like im the man at recruting, but i played with tulane and got decent recruits, this is what you do,,, you gotta start with your pipeline,, if they are nobody good in there then move around to all prospects, you get extra points for pipeline, i only recruit 10 at a time, give all 60 min. once you start getting around the 700-1000 ahead ill stop talking to em and keep my eye on em, are drop it to like 30 min. and grab another prospect,
There usually is a lower rated prospect that ends up being better than a 5 start recruit anyways (something I’ve noticed; 4 star recruits usually are better than 5 star recruits. The only difference is awareness so if you sim a lot of games that might be an issue). Also if you hand out all 25 scholarships you will be in a crap load of trouble when cutting your roster down to 70 comes around. You will end up cutting half the players you just spent hours on recruiting.
for it to be a team need you need a starter and a backup for te and since you have 3 coming back, not registered as a team need/ what you can do to recruit better is save after each recruit to figure out who is good or not, so if someone is a bust you can know before you start recruiting
basically a redshirt will give a player another year which means a freshmen will stay a freshmen, and if you redshirt a senior they will be a second year senior and will not leave the college.
you can kinda cheat because if a lower star player is being targeted by a big college like lsu he is most likely a gem and if a higher star player is not being recruiting by a big college he is probably a bust but he may still be better than your starter though.. just some tips.
Sometimes it’s week 10. Sometimes it’s week 8. Just depends on how it’s going.) At the end of the season you should only be giving out around 15 scholarships and even then you might have to cut 5-7 players in the off-season especially for young teams.
Another tip is to try to scout your recruits to 100% before giving them a scholarship (unless you do the offer scholarship thing in the first week.) I got the #5 QB in my dynasty and then scouted him. Turned out to be from a 74 to a 68 lol

you can only have 70 people on your roster so recruiting 25 every yr you gonna cut,so why not just focus on what you want or need and give em 60min.you can also grab people thats no interested at all, when i do this i grab the ones who are not filled with schools, maybe have like 3,4,5 school on there with low points,like3,r 400,. on scouting i rarely scout completely, if u want a fast lb and you got his speed and tackle ill offer a scholarship and move on.. check it out, reply if u have questions

What happens if u don't keep your promise
Your "Coach Integrity" stat decreases, and recruits are less likely to trust you in the future. Plus the player whose promise you broke may transfer.
People are ovecritical of the busts, remember that the center is still a 79, which still might be the best center in the country, no need to avoid him
