He gave you 60 to 130 times, and thats where this car lives on a racetrack. A full second over stock in that timespan is like night and day. A better example of this improvement over stock IS TOP SPEED. Thats where horsepower mods really make a difference for a car like this. For a timed lap it really matters because imagine a shorter time on the straightaways. The Z06 made up its time for timed laps ON CORNER ENTRY AND EXIT SPEED, BUT WAS NO MATCH FOR A Huracan STO on the straightaway. This mod CHANGES ALL THAT, and on a track like the Nürburgring or SPA it would be devastating in the hands of a professional driver. The European lap times ALREADY are simply staggering, and this car humiliates just about every company.
@@thiosemicarbizidebenzoylal2921 gt3 RS has a 6:49 Nurburgring lap time. Gt3 RS is also 170 hp less than a c8z , now imagine a gt3 with headers exhaust no cats intake and a tune…. It’s the same scenario & it will gain better times….however for the vette GM still hasn’t provided an official lap time for the c8z yet… if you do research there were spectators who timed one do a 7:13 which were equal to the c7 z06 and wasn’t counted as an official time due it not beating the previous Gen car… Regardless they are 30 seconds off from a 170 hp less of a car. it’s going to be very very hard to beat.
Another issue , the z06 is too heavy , 3700 lbs is heavyweight status in the supercar world. Hopefully they address this issue with the zr1 if they want to be in the sub 6 min Nurburgring group.
Not saying the c8z isn’t impressive , for the price you can’t beat it, but it’s not in a league of its own like the 3rs is.

@@anthonydemola 15 hp is all the gt3RS gains with those mods done if that. Check out Eventuris presentation with the 991.2 GEN engine which is nearly identical.

You have taken the mantle as king Z06 performance expert by a wide margin. Those acceleration rates on track most likely put this car as one of the fastest track cars available to the public that is NA in the history of sports cars.

This makes the Z06 way better for the money. Right now, a C8Z gets pulled on convincingly by a GT500 and even a stock C7Z. But 60-130 in the 6s changes everything!

Very informative video. Plan to put all your mods into my 24 z06. Problem is it just has 150 miles one it after a month, Holidays and weather is preventing me to get to the 500 mile break in. I also like the CF aero setup you have. I want the front with canards and the lower rear wing. Now lets see the dyno numbers.

My Procharged C7 Stingray did 7.0-71 60-130 ran bottom 10’s @ 134-136 mph
I have a 24 Z06 and have a drag pack that I have not done dragy 60-130 runs or track runs yet.
My old 2023 Stingray I did headers and cat deletes felt great.
Will add cat deletes this winter on the Z.
Obviously, looking at a simple air intake but am sceptical on this intake as that’s quite a bit quicker
The Z is not tunable yet via HPtuners so im hesitant to do cat delete. Wonder how harmful it could be for car + CEL

Dang 6.9 is impressive. My slower C6Z runs a 7.1 in the best air possible. I think I could get a 6.9 or so if I throw my alumastars on and no lift shift. You’re making me want to sell both C6Z’s and get a C8Z

How many times did you get into the high 6's
Mine normally does 7.50 stock and sometimes it will do 7 flat for no reason. I did a s&b and didn't really pick up anything on the 60-130.
You also had a passenger in the first video, that’s a huggggeeee difference man.
From a dig yes, from a rolling start less. But if you want to get nit picky, in the first video I had no front splitter or canards and in the test of the intake, I had the full splitter and canards at which would cause drag at 100+ mph.
I would like to meet up sometime late this month. My Z06 is stock right now. Cat deletes will be installed probably next month so it would be great to do a few runs together to see the difference on film. I’m located in Port Saint Lucie Fl

Does 1.4 sec saved in 60-130 actually equate to 1.4s saved on a lap time? I don't think it does. Time saved will be a component of the duration of a higher speed / distance and the difference in speed between this and stock. Don't get the wrong, the gains are awesome and when I get my Z06 at some imaginary time in the future, I'd like to do these mods... actual track time saved... does someone know how to calculate it?

No, upgrading the performance of the car has nothing to do with the interior trim level. I just need the power and handling and I’m happy. Nicer leather doesn’t make you go faster around the track.

we need to see 1/4 mile vs stock C8 Z06. Not 60-130
You need to see it all, there is information in every test
it is also weather dependent. I ran 60-130 in 8.0 in summer in my z06 with z07 package which should be slower than z06 without aero. I am sure in negative 1500 da, my stock z06 can also run 6s 60-130. it definitely won't hit 9s as that require car trapping over 140s
