Stop supporting one single person rather try to keep relationship with the country, it will be easier for you to maintain the foreign policy toward the neighbor country efficiently. Suggesting you to research on the impact of interruption in the natural flow of rivers, it's imapct on climate change in both the countries and rasie question to your Government as well, what people of BD is doing now. Development of India doesn't mean the development of Delhi and Mumbai only and showing that to the world.
India didnot release any water from dumbur dam intentionally, the heavy rain caused dam to fill up and overflow, it was an autorelease of excess 6 inches of water. Unlike kaptai, dumbur dam doesn't have large gates where all of the reservoir can be drained out. It was an overflow of excess water due to heavy rain.
I am surprised that floods is gomti river hasn't cause as catastrophic damage as muhuri river has done in parshuram and feni and other regions of noakhali. Muhuri has a very small barrage, no other dam exist! How come the floods of feni so dramatic than comilla, which sits right on the river where dumbur dam is set up?

There is a huge lake behind the Dam --- Danbur lake --- looks like there was heavy rainfall in the Lake catchment area resulting the the Lake getting flooded and water over flowing above the Dam -- we do not know how safe is the Dam ? --- why build a Dam in such an area having excess rainfall and water ??? That Dam is dangerous to both Tripura and Bangladesh ---- it is creating artificial flooding ---It should be dismantled ....
Please also dismantle Kaptai dam then. Kaptai lake and it's catchment area is 5-6 time more large than dumbur. Heck dumbur dam doesn't even have moveable gates so it can't intentionally dump all water on gomti. Truth is Dumbur overflowed above it's threshold due to heavy rainfall resulting in autorelease of excess water in gomti on that night. Adding rest of the 14-15 smaller tributaries of gomti in Tripura you know why Tripura and Bangladesh was flooded.
