Kendrick's reality is he's big off the few songs that don't follow the creative flow of his albums and even those are misinterpreted (swimming poolz - a song about alcoholism that's banged at clubs/bitch don't kill my vibe - song about the rap game that people smoke and drink to/maad city - highlights his youthful arrogance but people bang it as a song to act wild too). You need an appreciation for old school rap and poetry to get Kendrick and most ppl in the NBA aren't especially deep thinkers

I love Nas, Scarface, and Rakim but Pac music hits a little different to me. Pac music got me through a lot of shit back in the 90's losing a lot of close ones and raised by a single mom. Rap not always about big lyrics and fancy wordplay, it's also about emotions and Art and Pac paint a hell of a Picture!
