I love refused but I really like this, I like the 70s rock tune to it, he is with no doubt a rock lover and a great musician
I follow everything that Dennis has been involved with and have been pleased with all of it. I was upset that I haven't heard anything else from The (International) Noise Conspiracy, but this whole album is great. (Everybody seems to only want more Refused material though. They were a fantastic band, but I love hearing his other outlets.)

This is pretty cool, combining swedish pop-rock with old school post-punk in the vein of The Cure and Joy Division. I just prefer the swedish version.

Animals Mistaken for Monsters They changed their name to this when they started to sing in english, so I guess it's english pronunciation of "invasion". They were called Invasion when they sang in swedish, and the swedish pronunciation has a shorter/stressed "A".

obviously Refused is better, but I'm still impressed that he is able to sing pop music after screaming his face off all those years, must have a voice of steel. and as far as pop goes it isn't bad. far better than lady gaga or muse or any of that garbage
+jaketaz Dude this is so Joy Division and The Cure. This is post-punk. This is also very good. Also Muse isn't garbage man. Their brand of rock is very different (art rock/space rock to be precise) and not everybody digs that kind of music. Have some respect man.

This is alright, but the last Invasionen album was so much better.
I will wait for his next project, I don´t like this one so much...
In the 21 years that have passed since ‘the shape of punk to come...’ countless interviews and a band made documentary have established that Dennis was not the main driver behind refused’s genre defining sound. However, this fucking travesty of a song and gaudy, garish, obtrusive clip that screams ‘out of touch hasbeen’s idea of what is cool’ is confirmation that Lyxzen was Refused’s Agnetha. But at least she had the good grace to realise that without Benny and Bjorn there was no point in releasing music. Tbh I quite like (I)NC but when I juxtapose that band with this one it becomes clear he is chasing the perceived ‘zeitgeist’ but this time he has missed the mark so massively it almost pisses on Refused’s heritage. This song has fuck all views and fuck all likes because it is uninspired and just plain boring.
