    As a supertaster I love sour beers because it includes a lot of flavors that don't overlap with the earwax bitter flavor of alcohol. Most beers just reinforce that flavor that every drop of alcohol content has for me.

      Ok, I'll bite. What's a 'supertaster'? Is this some hypersensitive register of taste?

    Most women I know don't like beer. They go Yuk when I tell them I love beer. I love a beer with guts to it. A robust, flavor. But I tried a sour beer by accident. I didn't realize until I got home that it was a sour one. Sorry but it was AWFUL.. I have never tasted anything so bad in my life.
    Kudos to anyone that drinks this. I'll go back to my stouts and ales.

      @@bringyourempties well, appearance is huge when you're putting yourself on "TV"-tube.
      What's with dudes with unkept, scruffy beards? Esp., in the craft brew biz? It's a rampant look of lack of style: usual scene is a balding guy, he grows a scruffy long ass beard, wears his baggy shorts below his gut, dressed in some kind of "logo" beefy-T- shirt, then tops it off with a flip-flops and an ill-fitting flannel,... don't forget the collection of ridiculous tats.
      It is a rampant 'look', within the craft brew world.
      You know what I'm talking about!

    • @bringyourempties
      @bringyourempties  3 года назад +1

      Yup, probably the biggest stereotype of the craft beer world. Been working our way out of our scruffy beards lately and taking care of appearance a bit more. We tried something 3 years ago which didn't really worked!

    Sour beer is absolutely disgusting, like stomach acid. It's what we associate with beer gone bad.

    • @bringyourempties
      @bringyourempties  4 года назад +3

      When badly done yes, but there’s sours out there ment this way and properly balanced. I’ve drank bad ones and amazing ones. Just like any beer styles, sometimes it takes a little bit of an adaptation when you are not used to new flavours.

      @@9hundred67 It could be an infected beer at this point, If I look at it real quick. It's supposed to be light, fluffy, citrus notes and a banana finish on this kind of beer.
