Giving this one a try today with Christmas fabrics. Thank you for the great tutorials!
Those
Quilter's Select rulers are the best!
This is very interesting. It has some great possibilities.
I really enjoyed the tutorial and seeing another way to personalize a quilt. And this pattern demonstrates that blocks can be really big and look very sophisticated. Love it!
TWO rulers to get a good cut! You are a GENIUS!
Did I mention that I 💖 love you for this?
Yay!! Gotta love love!!
Yep, a really great tip. Thanks
Two rulers. What a great tip!
Learned a few new tricks, thanks for this new tutorial.
Thank you so very much Cindi! I have been waiting for this Wood Pile for your Son In Law. My husband is 6''8". I have to watch again to see if seven 1/2 yard cuts is enough to expand as you did. I almost pre-bought this same fabric in anticipation of this tutorial but knew I should wait. That SIL better eat his Wheaties - LOL!
Lol. Yes!!
My daughter's boyfriend is 6'8" so I will also need to add blocks! I'm new at quilting so it may or may not end up being long enough!
What a fantastic idea to mark the ruler! I have never considered using a pen. I always used painters tape.
I am so glad to finally watch one of your quilt videos. I was thrilled when you helped out with face masks. Love your family run quilt company! Thanks 🙏🏻 🌸🤙🏼🌴🌈
Thank you so much!! Now it’s time to sew something fun!!
I like that pattern
This would make a fast rag quilt with some Christmas flannel.
Thanks for the wet erase marker tip! I don't have washi tap and don't want to buy any to mark my rulers. But I have these markers from teaching. Brilliant!! I always get the best ideas from y'all!!
That was a great video. I’m dying to try this. I learn something new on every video….and you have a wonderful smile!
Can't wait to try this. I want to try it for a little girl. Fun to see it in pink and purple!!!
Definitely!!
I really do like this and the idea of using left over blocks or even a few favorite blocks that I wouldn’t want to make multiple times for a whole quilt. Thank you!
Such a wonderful versatile pattern! I've ordered it and have plans to make up some quick and easy quilts. Thanks for this great tutorial provided to all of us... blessings to y'all.
Good thank you!! You too!!
Thanks for creating a pattern we can easily change around .without loosing the structure.
Nice job Cindi. Thank you.
Thank you
This is a great pattern for those large print fabric lines!! Thanks!
I love your idea of using your blocks like that it makes it very interesting
What a great way to use up scraps too!
Thanks for the tutorial. Nice quilt idea 😊
I definitely think this one is on my list. I need a project I can make and feel I have finally got something done. Had a long weekend with the sisters and the patter I picked out was WAY more problematic than I thought. I have the most amazing barn panel pieces I have been anxiously awaiting to use, now this is it. Thank you again for the great videos.
You can do this!!
Hi Cindy! I just found you and I am so happy I did! Your instructions are precise and easy to understand. I certainly have fabric to use with this pattern. Thank you for taking your time to put this on RUclips.
Great tutorial, I love all the tips and tricks you share as you work through the tutorial.
This way cool! Looks like something I could actually make! Thanks!
Really enjoyed this tutorial. Thank you.
Beautiful. Thanks for tutorial. I will go buy panel pattern and wood...
This was a great tutorial. Thanks for sharing
as always an inspiring and informative video!!
i'm not a quilter, but several friends are. So I like to check out different videos. Can't seem to want to watch a whole video on instructions to make a Wood Patch quilt, when I don't see a sample of the quilt shown at the beginning of the video. Unless I missed you showing us the quilt. I'll start over and check..... Thank you
Thank you for a great tutorial.
Really enjoyed this pattern and tutorial. Have purchased from GE Designs their Ruler Stickers. They work great to show you where to cut.
Thank you Cindi! One of my next projects for sure!
Very nice cutting tips!
Great video.. I love how your quilts came out!
Thanks
Thank you Cindi!
Accidentally hit the thumb down button, but actually loved it!
Lol. Oops.
I was a little confused here and there about what you were saying not matching what you were doing...then I realized the problem. When you started counting inches I realized that the sound wasn't sync'ed up with the video, so you were moving your hands to cut while the audio was still counting. Haha.
Would love to see the fabric you use for the back. I've done several tops to donate to a group that was looking to finish them and make lap quilts for vets. So I have never completed one or done the quilting on it. I would like to give it a try. Is there a pattern that is better to start with?
We have lots of beginner patterns. Stash buster is another good one. And “Stacks”. Both have videos to help you decide!
Cindi, wondering what you are using to layout your quilt pieces on. Meaning the grid pattern? I loved this video very much!❤️ I have only made a baby quilt(extremely simple) one. But think I might be able to make this one! Thank you so much 😊
Thank you! It is called creative grid. It is a 54 inch wide flannel that has perfect 2 inch squares. It is 11.99 a yard and we sell it on our website at www.fabricpatch.net. Thank you so much for watching!
@@TheFabricPatch thank you so much! I’ve got it it the cart!
This could be a backing for a quilt couldn’t it?
Of course! I love a two sided quilt!
Did you use all flannel in this quilt pattern?
Yes the line I used was called woodland flannel. Here is the link. www.fabricpatch.net/shop/Fabric/Wild-Life-Flannel.htm
What is the white knob on your large ruler. Thank you
It is a quilter select handle. It helps you to pick up and move the ruler a little bit easier. The grip on that ruler is so strong that you can’t slide it on the fabric. It makes it nice so it doesn’t slip when you’re cutting.
@@TheFabricPatch thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
The knob also help keep your fingers out of the way. No one needs to slice a finger.
Where are all of the fussy cut pieces?
They are the squares. The canoe, moose, etc.
This is way too busy. It is all beautiful fabric but none of it stands out. There is too much dark fabric.

The music is terrible. It sounds like that guy music that they play in Lowes for guys. It has a sexual beat to it. Can you please use different music next time? I had to turn it off. Good idea.
I have to admit I didn’t like the music either. Our videographer picks it. It’s always different. I already asked her not to use this one again.
