    I really enjoyed the tutorial and seeing another way to personalize a quilt. And this pattern demonstrates that blocks can be really big and look very sophisticated. Love it!

    Thank you so very much Cindi! I have been waiting for this Wood Pile for your Son In Law. My husband is 6''8". I have to watch again to see if seven 1/2 yard cuts is enough to expand as you did. I almost pre-bought this same fabric in anticipation of this tutorial but knew I should wait. That SIL better eat his Wheaties - LOL!

    What a fantastic idea to mark the ruler! I have never considered using a pen. I always used painters tape.

    I definitely think this one is on my list. I need a project I can make and feel I have finally got something done. Had a long weekend with the sisters and the patter I picked out was WAY more problematic than I thought. I have the most amazing barn panel pieces I have been anxiously awaiting to use, now this is it. Thank you again for the great videos.

Can't seem to want to watch a whole video on instructions to make a Wood Patch quilt, when I don't see a sample of the quilt shown at the beginning of the video. Unless I missed you showing us the quilt. I'll start over and check..... Thank you

    I was a little confused here and there about what you were saying not matching what you were doing...then I realized the problem. When you started counting inches I realized that the sound wasn't sync'ed up with the video, so you were moving your hands to cut while the audio was still counting. Haha.

    Would love to see the fabric you use for the back. I've done several tops to donate to a group that was looking to finish them and make lap quilts for vets. So I have never completed one or done the quilting on it. I would like to give it a try. Is there a pattern that is better to start with?

    Cindi, wondering what you are using to layout your quilt pieces on. Meaning the grid pattern? I loved this video very much!❤️ I have only made a baby quilt(extremely simple) one. But think I might be able to make this one! Thank you so much 😊

    • @TheFabricPatch

      Thank you! It is called creative grid. It is a 54 inch wide flannel that has perfect 2 inch squares. It is 11.99 a yard and we sell it on our website at www.fabricpatch.net. Thank you so much for watching!

    What is the white knob on your large ruler. Thank you

    • @TheFabricPatch
      @TheFabricPatch  3 года назад +3

      It is a quilter select handle. It helps you to pick up and move the ruler a little bit easier. The grip on that ruler is so strong that you can’t slide it on the fabric. It makes it nice so it doesn’t slip when you’re cutting.

    The music is terrible. It sounds like that guy music that they play in Lowes for guys. It has a sexual beat to it. Can you please use different music next time? I had to turn it off. Good idea.

    • @TheFabricPatch
      @TheFabricPatch  3 года назад

      I have to admit I didn’t like the music either. Our videographer picks it. It’s always different. I already asked her not to use this one again.
